Nah. Same story repeated ad nausem -- Bama vs LSU, but Ish does seem more vocal lately about wanting a package deal with brother Rodney.

That’s what they’re saying on the LSU side. But you guys wouldn’t offer Rodney just for Ish right? Make him grey shirt or something?

The only way Rodney comes here is by walking on. I think it's safe to say we're not burning any sort of scholarship/signing spot on him.

From what I've seen, Bama won't offer Rodney more than a PWO spot. I don't get why he doesn't prefer an FCS school so he could play. I mean, there are no FBS schools recruiting him with a committable offer, right?

Steve Sarkisian was let go by Atlanta today. Bama analyst or does someone give Sark an OC job?

This is why I wanted us to go ahead and get Ika. This package deal crap isn't worth the time.

He killed the 3pete and destroyed the Falcons offense. He can stay away please.

There's been speculation Pruitt might have him lined up for the Vols OC job.

I give 2 craps about the Falcons offense and Lane Kiffin is more responsible for that the Sark.

With that being said I'm not dieing to have him back, I just love having a million ex-head coaches as analyst and interns.

ETA: I'm joking about the Falcons offense by the way, I'm a Niners fan and it never bothers me when the Falcons are having issues because I grew up when the Falcons were rivals in the NFC West I only feel bad for Julio's and Calvin's sake.

Tbh, your post is the first time I've seen Yurcich mentioned for the Vols OC job. I haven't been paying much attention to that coaching search. And I doubt Saban wants to bring Sark back.

The guys on Jox, are hinting that they think Pruitt is interested in SARK.... they were around each other for a bit, JP should know all he needs to decide if he would like to do the interview or not

None that I have seen. LSU having to do the Fournette route again just to attempt to make sure he signs.

That’s why I have thought all along he won’t be in Bama’s class. Any other time I think he is

LINK ]Daxton Hill: 'heart has always been at' Michigan from beginning (247Sports)
quote:

SAN ANTONIO — In one of the more roller coaster type recruitments in recent memory, five-star safety Daxton Hill ended up committing to Michigan on early signing day on Dec. 19.

His decision to commit to the Wolverines, however, was kept a secret, considering he switched his verbal to Alabama just 11 days earlier on Twitter.

What changed? Well, Hill, who had originally committed to Michigan on Sept. 18 after his official visit, says he went back to his reasoning why he committed to U-M in the first place.

“Really, just thinking it over with my family after a few days, a few weeks, I felt like that was just home for me, and that’s where my heart has always been at from the beginning,” Hill said of his Michigan commitment. “So just going back that would be the better decision for me and my family.”

Hill, who starred at Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington, says he made his decision to commit back to Michigan way before signing day. However, he says he kept his decision a secret so he wouldn’t face the public backlash.

“It was under the radar,” Hill said of his switch back to Michigan. “Just knowing all the things that happened when I flipped. I didn’t want to cause more commotion and all that. So just flying under the radar was better for me and my family.”

LETTER SIGNED

Ultimately, Hill signed with Michigan. Now he says he can focus on finishing his senior season before enrolling this summer in Ann Arbor.

“It was a big relief,” Hill said on signing his national letter of intent. “I can just focus now on what I have in the future. Just academically and athletically, I can focus on that and enjoy my senior year.”

PLAYING EARLY

TMI asked Hill about the possibility of playing early on as a freshman and if it played into his decision with Michigan. Hill didn’t answer the question specifically, but did acknowledge he’s looking forward to playing in Don Brown’s aggressive style defense.

“I love their defense,” Hill said. “Coach Brown is good at coaching. That’s a no brainer to going there and I feel like I can see myself doing well in that defense.”

BOWL WEEK PREP
This is Hill’s last week as a high school football player. He says he’s looking forward to competing with the best players in the country to close out his career.

“Really just have fun and I really want to compete against the top players in the country,” Hill said of his goals this week. “I’m just looking forward to it and building new relationships.”

MOVING FORWARD

With his college career set to start this summer at Michigan, Hill says there is still much to work before he steps foot on campus.

“I’ll be working on everything, really,” Hill said of his development moving forward. “(Working on) academics, improving as a football player with my DB coach and in the weight room.”

When in the hell is Carter going to get a proper ranking on rivals? If he was a top 10 corner on rivals he would be a borderline 5 star
