Reminds me of LSU at the beginning our streak. Every year it’s all about how they’re just as talented as us and they’re gonna whip our arse and they always play us close and it’s always physical blah blah blah
8 years later they just say it to go through the motions and even get themselves jacked up for like 2-3 days prior, max out their hype on gameday just to get defeated in a totally demoralizing way and repeat the cycle all over again
