I’m going to get roasted for this but here goes: I’m not as high on Thibs as most of you are. Here’s why. I may be full of shite on this but I’ve been following recruiting for a long time and it’s my observation that a 5 star California kid is not the same caliber as a 5 star kid from the south. I don’t know if the competition isn’t as good or if football just isn’t taken as seriously in Cali, but IMHO, a 5 star Cali kid equates to about a high 4 star Bama or Georgia kid.
I hope he commits to us and I think he’ll be a good player but those of you that are expecting the next Clowney are probably going to be disappointed slightly. I will freely admit I haven’t seen Thibs highlights and he may be a monster but I will have to see it to believe it. Just my two cents worth.

Dax may or may not sign early, he hasn’t fully decided that part yet. I wish he would. Giving Khaki Pants 2 more months to plan sleepovers doesn’t sit well with me.

Yeah, these new guys on our board remind me of Buckeye06 from a few years back.
They disguised themselves as guys just discussing recruiting, but are really on our board to passive aggressively gloat since their team is doing well.
Don’t get me wring... they’re nice guys.... but they’re not on our boards if their team is ‘average’ in recruiting.

Lol I love that because other boards are territorial and can't handle anyone who doesn't share their deep love of their team, people here think that we should be as equally close minded and stupid. When did we become Auburn or Georgia? If you think we are better than them, that includes being better than them about stupid tribalistic policies.

This has nothing to do with any of that drivel you just posted.
This is the Alabama board for Alabama fans to discuss Alabama topics. The SECR is for talking to every fanbase. The SECrb is for talking recruiting with all fanbases.
You can do whatever you want, but asking rival fans to post in our recruiting thread is stupid AF.
Go see if they will let you on the uga board if you want to hear what they got to say.
