It works for other sports and occasionally recruits ask out if the HEAD coach leaves but most programs don’t make changes AFTER signing day unless someone retires(Saban eventually) . What a sad day that will be. Some of my friends and spoiled fans on here will appreciate it when it’s gone. Lol

I think the assistant coaching carousel is going to be fascinating to watch once the signing window closes tomorrow. This weekend will be fun.

Im so stoked about our D-line class this year and I was crying about it a month ago. If we can land an elite DB or two I think we will be just fine

Yea apparently may have been a reason he didn’t end up at some other schools. He tweeted something about how awful recruiting was a week or two ago I think

Anyway to finish weird day for osu with Carmen going to Clemson and Dabo being dirty as F. Carmen wasn’t as vital as some osu people are making it out to be but losing a top kid in state is not easy. Get another tackle a couple DEs and OSU has a great class

All I know is they are fricking up my football fix between the bowls and draft/a-day.

Season, bowl games, recruiting, draft, a-day

I hope we start to. He looks like an absolute stud. Maybe Bama3714 can bring him to Rodney Orr's or Redfish's attention and they can pass the info along.

Someone posted his video this morning where two guys could view it that have passed on prospect videos before (one passed along Josh Jacobs' info to our staff a couple years ago). I'm sure they've been made aware.

That burden is a downside, but the big advantage is you can sign and lockdown your true commits to prevent potential January poaching/flipping. You don't have to keep recruiting them to protect them. Instead, you can regroup and focus all your recruiting efforts in January on filling your remaining open spots.

This is what I was saying yesterday. I think Saban will master this time and it will benefit programs like ours to not have to waste resources on commits you can go ahead and lock down and put the press on the ones that are left as targets. Also eliminates chasing some of these high profile guys we target but like to play games all the way up to NSD but were always going elsewhere. There program of choice will now pressure them to sign early so it hopefully work out come January after the dust settles the ones we go after we have a legit shot at.

He's not, it was obvious by the way he posted he wasn't a bama fan but this last post is ban worthy, can't have obvious trolls on the board.

I’m not sure that he’s a troll as much as he is clueless about posting on the internets. I could be wrong I’m just saying I’m undecided.

On another note I was thinking since UGA won the SEC, #1 recruiting class and if they take the title or even runner up maybe, have they already de-throned the Tide as the SEC top dawg??

Yep. That's the other side of the "big benefit" coin I failed to mention.

I think Saban and the staff did a great job of anticipating the early signing period impact, planning for it and navigating it.

I really think Saban is going to go hard after the playoff on the uncommitted kids and pull off some miracles. We have an advantage with still having 8 spots open while other classes are closer to being filled. I think we end up with another 5 star or two and some Alabama kids like Ross and Foster.

Overall I think we'll be close to 300 or above on the 247 composite score.

Here is an article on an Iowa researcher who can predict with 70% accuracy where a guy is gonna commit. (I can't believe they did research on this)

It may help us that some of these “Big Time” waited and may possibly forced to look at places that are not full yet. They may have underestimated how many sign in early period too

So Georgia signed 6- 5 star guys.

Sounds like Bama classes of old
remember, this is still Georgia. How many of these guys actually end up playing a down of football?

We've got some CB's for:

Nicholas Petit-Frere
Isaac Taylor-Stuart
Tyson Campbell

OLD CBs. NOT NEW ONES. I just meant there are targets out there.
