I can’t hardly listen to Laura Rutledge or Heather Dinich talk about Alabama. It’s like they read shitty coverage reports with inaccurate info and start this whole, Alabama is vulnerable bull shite. Dinich is the absolute worst though. The fact she gets paid to do what she does is unbelievably retarded.

You know that or are you just assuming? How many people is UGA going to sign? I feel like they’re signing about 50 people.

He has a family member on staff there (Uga) now. Not sure if that's the deal, but someone I trust mentioned that a couple days ago, and that there could be some potential concern with it. May be nothing. Who knows?

There do seem to be more "takes" with interest than there are available spots left in this class... I think most of us are uncertain exactly how it's going to shake out as well...

Several recruiting guys have been mentioning that 1-2 more current commits may be qualification risks, and therefore could decommit... resulting in open spots.

At this point, outstanding "needs" for this class probably include:

+1-2 more DL ... Barmore would be an ideal grab. Outside of that, maybe a true DE (particularly if rumors that Becton may be looking around are true - not sure if he's one of the qual risks, but the looking around was mentioned elsewhere).

+2 LB - most seem to think Otis Reese and Channing Tindall are close to a done deal... not sure on it, but certainly seems like we have a good shot.

+1 TE - Ford or bust here it would seem... Maybe secondary pull of Tommy Tremble as a UGA legacy if we miss on Ford, but I think he's going elsewhere.

+1 CB - Most seemed to think that best chance was Tyson Campbell, but now increased interest in Nadab Joseph as well as the 3* at Florida (Divaad Wilson maybe?)

+2-3 OL - Salyer. Mays and/or Hill... Assuming just Salyer and Mays are most likely at this point, but UT coaching hire of course a question mark. Hill seemed likely for a long time, but continued attraction to Auburn makes me think he ends up a Tigplainseaglemaner...

+1 ATH/WR - Alontae Taylor seems highly likely at this point as well - UT hire of course in play as well.

With current commits (18), there is room for what most believe will be 6 additional with no attrition of existing commitments (lost 1 due to David Marvin's blue shirt I believe unless that changed at some point). I'm still uncertain on the situation with Devontae Wyatt though, as his late qualification would seem to have made him an initial counter in 2017 *and* in 2018, which seems odd and having rule breaking potential at least. If we added the minimum numbers above, that would be 8, which would be in line with the 2 additional potential failures to qualify speculation that has been out there.

As to the 50 people, I think it just seems to be that for every guy that we're interested in for one of those few spots, it seems to be going up against Bama in a lot of cases (Joseph, Campbell, and Barmore come to mind)... I don't think there is a scenario where we could take them all, but we seem to be battling it out for all of them so as not to get left stuck at the altar if we miss.

Laura isn't bad. She's 1/2 Bama now that she married into it.

Dinich seems to have some sort of mad on against Bama at times, but we are likely reading too much into it.

We are. So is everyone else. They just aren't use to be able to say Bama is vulnerable so that's become the hot talking point lately.

He should start by hiring better recruiters. As it stands right now, our staff is getting badly outworked on DL and DB recruiting.

Kirby probably got to Nadab with some negative recruiting. Likely with some form of “ they didn’t want you before, why do they want you now?”

How long until this class can be done?

I wish some of you would stop with the outworked. Maybe out recruited but no way you can say outworked. Pretty sure recruiting is more a technique than effort.

Whatever word you want to use, our staff hasn't delivered. We're razor thin on the DL and DB, and if we don't land some studs at those positions we will run into some problems in a few years. Also, it doesn't appear that we lead for any of the top corners in the 2019 class.

Well they are getting out techniqued, bigly. Is that better?
