And there's another entire recruiting cycle before that becomes an issue. Bama can always go the juco route for immediate contribution if needed.

I wouldn't be surprised if we look at the grad transfer route for DL depth once today is over.

I'm sure more prospects will emerge after NSD on the JUCO level too. They always do once grades are compiled.

Defensive lineman, especially Defensive Tackles, are the hardest to land it seems. Feels like they are all drama filled head cases haha.

The melts so far have been sad and pathetic. If people are going to melt I want to see anger and irrationalization.

Bama knocked DT recruiting out of the park in the 13-15 cycles, but have gotten their arse kicked the last 3 cycles.

Dunbar needs to be replaced, period. Guy can't recruit his way out of a wet paper bag.

Would be nice to see if there is a grad transfer with more than one year left to play, so we can get more than 1 season out of them. Any chance we now have a spot for Langham?

Usually the listed times are when the ceremonies at the schools begin. You have kids signing scholarships to play all sorts of sports and then the D1 football signings are last.

Is the fact that we have only 8 DL on scholarship right now (and will likely lose 2-3 after next season) not alarming to you?

From Chris Kirschner very early this morning:

quote:

1: 25 a.m. ET: Colquitt County coach Rush Propst texted me that he feels like his star linebacker, JJ Peterson, is 75 percent leaning toward Tennessee with the other 25 percent going to Alabama. I still think he ends up at Tennessee. He’ll make his final decision in between 1 and 2 p.m. ET.
