If we don’t land ITS its because we sat on our hands hoping to get Campbell. I’m hoping this doesn’t end up like when we chased for Fournette.

Maybe i’m wrong - and I hope we land both 5 star corners - but I’m not sure that our secondary sinks or swims NEXT year based on any true freshman (especially ones who do not enroll early). They could really help some next year but I don’t think they are a complete fix if what we already have on campus can’t get it done.

Especially Campbell. He may end up being the best of the bunch (good chance) but I think he’s at least a year away (probably two).

They are probably more important for 19/20 than 2018.

FWIW, I think ITS is further behind Campbell relative to eta to make a significant impact.

Speaking of DBs next year, does anybody know which position Chadarius Townsend ended up at?

I saw him listed as WR on BOL's roster. It seems like he could be a DB.

Mojo is using his 5th OV to Miami, so it’s safe to say we have lost our mojo.

From an SEC Coutry article two pages back:

But, according to a source close to Alabama, it’s unlikely that Taylor-Stuart ends up being a part of the Tide’s class. There are a few off-the-field issues that aren’t going to work in his favor. Expect Taylor-Stuart to remain on the West Coast and commit to Southern California next Wednesday.

Maybe you are too young to remember but I can remember when we would KILL for a top five class! Lol. With seven straight 1 classes, I think we will be OK

Some might contribute. Surtain and Campell are pretty elite and have been very well coached by Surtain, Sr. Savion Smith is a JuCo and already practiced with the team in Dec-Jan. Saban has already said he thinks Savion will be a contibutor.

BOL is basically having the same discussion, but the mods are saying Bama wasn't 100% sold on ITS as a corner after seeing his senior film. Some questions about his physicality (maybe better suited for offense) and then there are possibly some grade concerns as well.

Tim thinks we get at least 2 of the guys we are targeting ahead of him, which is what the underlying goal is.

If we are turning away guys like Kaho and ITS, we better have some damn good silents. That or our staff is gonna end up with egg on their face come NSD. Hoping for the best but not feeling great about where we are 5 days out.

Relax. If we miss on Campbell, we have Copeland to "fall back on". That's an incredibly good fall back option.

We'll be fine with our starting DB's.

CB-Diggs
CB-Savion
S-Deionte
S-Xavier McKinney
Nickel-Shyheim
Dime-Daniel Wright or Mayden or a freshman or McDonald.

We're very talented back there. Maybe a freshman breaks that lineup. But we'll be fine in any case. The front 7 will be filthy.

Nope...USC has always been in the picture regardless of his infatuation with the SEC. SC coaches have always been very confident they'd land him.

True, and I don't either, but I'm changing my suspicion to UT based on context clues.
