Najee Harris
Following in a long line of successful Alabama running backs, Harris is already on the Tuscaloosa campus gearing up for a big career with the Crimson Tide. The top-rated prospect in the 2017 class is a 6-foot-3 man-child who will probably only add muscle and mass to an already impressive frame. The five-star can run between the tackles, has the speed and elusiveness to get outside and is a phenomenal pass-catcher out of the backfield. He picked Alabama over Michigan and others.

Alex Leatherwood
Huge, mean, tough and going to Alabama. The Crimson Tide continues to churn out exceptional offensive linemen, and Leatherwood could be next in line. He has massive shoulders and he moves his feet well, plus the five-star loves to dominate defensive linemen. Smaller ones, he eats up. Bigger ones, he usually overpowers. Leatherwood plays with a mean streak necessary for the SEC and with some technical work could be the next big-timer in Tuscaloosa.

Drew Champlin and Mark Jennings are back with another edition of Champ's Corner, the Alabama recruiting podcast.
Alabama added a kicker commit. The hosts talk about that.
At the time of the recording, there was debate on if Jacksonville, Fla., cornerback would officially visit. He will not.
The hosts also break down other uncommitted targets and make predictions for who fills out the class.

Becoming the first junior to win Alabama's Mr. Football award has its perks, especially from the recruiting trail.
Beauregard running back La'Damian Webb -- Alabama's reigning Mr. Football -- said last week that he holds offers from Troy, Bowling Green, Indiana and Iowa State, and Hornets coach Rob Carter said Alabama, Auburn and North Carolina have shown interest in the last week.
"I think we'll see even more after Signing Day after they close out 2017 and start on 2018," Carter said. "It's going to pick up at the end of February. ... It feels like being Mr. Football has made a big difference."
Webb ran for 3,242 yards and scored an AHSAA single-season record 53 touchdowns in leading Beauregeard to the 2016 Class 5A championship. In the 33-13 title-game victory over Wenonah, he logged 51 carries for 359 yards and five touchdowns - setting new all-class Super 7 records in all three categories.
He was named Mr. Football last week, winning a wide-open race that included runner-up and Louisville QB commit Malik Cunningham from Park Crossing; Spanish Fort linebacker Thomas Johnston, the AHSAA's all-time career tackles leader who is headed to UAB; Florida early enrollee and Blount QB Kadarius Toney; and James Clemens defensive lineman LaBryan Ray, the state's No. 1 prospect.
Less than a week to go before National Signing Day, Lane holds two scholarship offers – Jacksonville State and Alabama State.
A junior, Webb is a member of the Class of 2018 and still has another season of high school football to play.
At 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds, Webb lacks the battering-ram size of Alabama Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry or bruising Auburn running back Kamryn Pettway, but he showcased durability with more than 90 carries in the semifinal and championship rounds of the playoffs.
Carter also said Webb excels as a receiver, giving him versatility that could be attractive to a spread offense like Auburn or Mississippi State.
Some schools see Webb's height, Carter argued, as an asset instead of a drawback.
"To me, with (things like) the inside zone, he's got the ability to not be seen," Carter said. "He kind of hides behind all those big linemen."
Carter also said Webb is on track to qualify academically.

Looks like UK is putting the full-court press on Jedrick Wills to try and get the hometown flip. He's at least entertaining them. Apparently Stoops and his offensive staff in whole went to his school yesterday and then to dinner last night.

They said Willis was instrumental in us keeping leatherwood at the last minute, so maybe he is solid and just courtesy on his part? Grasping at straws here

“It was really close,” Harris said. “But every time I go to practice and every time I go in the weight room, I want to compete against the top athletes — or so a lot of people say — the best. I want to compete against all of those guys. I’m always looking to get better. Alabama has a lot of resources to just get better. I just want to get better, and they have a lot of stuff to make that happen.”
I remember hearing that Bamas strength coach and training facility was keeping Bama slightly ahead of UM. I thought it was just nonsense but turns out that might have been the difference.

He probably understands that keeping good relationships with other coaches is important. Coaches do move around. Some of them may later end up at the school you go to or in the NFL later on. Besides, nice free meal too.

How does it show up on your Xbox One? Like an app?
Posted on 1/27/17 at 12:08 pm to TideSaint
Yep it should be an app on your Xbox called Microsoft edge, you basically put that URL in, and that's how you get to it to play. Microsoft Edge is more like an Internet Browser, I think it replaced Internet Explorer
