247 on the LSU side doesn't really talk about him that much. Guess he will be picking a hat on NSD.

Garcia says 51% confidence he lands at Bama. Not exactly reassuring.

Y'all don't need him anyway. LSU has brought in some phenomenal DL classes lately.

You know O wants as many D lineman as he can get . I wonder when ESPNU will put out the NSD announcement schedule?

The chances of missing out on both Mathis and Solomon both are slim.

This was posted earlier by Chatta I believe:

Sonny thinks Mathis is a coin flip

He's the best source on any of this recruiting you can get

I think the closer we get to NSD, the more confidence Bama's staff gets landing Solomon and less confident they are in landing Mathis

My final unofficial prediction for this class (I reserve the right to change this lol) is:

Ray
Ruggs
Harris
Smith
Solomon
Parks
A KICKER (May be Mags PWO...if Byers doesn't make it in that would allow for 7 spots, and I think at this point if HB is asked to GS he might go elsewhere...that's just a hunch though)

Terrell Hall will definitely be on the field soon. He looked outstanding in his limited playing time this season.

For the first time in a while, #Alabama has zero 'soft verbal' commitments in the 2017 class:

I think Jarez Parks' physical and mental makeup is really similar to Myles Garrett. Not predicting similar paths, just saying, similar upside

Easy with the Garcia stuff. It'll get you banned over there by bringing stuff here. It happened to me today.

That's why I have different usernames on each board, but thanks for the warning. Maybe I'll just have to become a run of the mill insider that quotes my sources.

Can you still read the info when you're banned?

You can read articles, but you can't access the forums.

I emailed John and he gave me the access back. I didn't know paraphrasing was against the rules over there. I won't make the same mistake twice though.

This article from al.com has Ruggs saying he expects it to go until NSD.

quote:

Ruggs estimated this was his fourth trip to Alabama this year. He said hanging around the recruits was his favorite part. Some commits, including quarterback Mac Jones, did their part in trying to sway him to Alabama.

"I know a lot of them from previous camps," Ruggs said. "We pretty much already had a relationship and we just got to hang out and have a good time.

"They pretty much just make jokes of everything. With everything they say, they try to trick me to say that I'm going to 'Bama, but it was fun."

Freshman linebacker Mack Wilson was Ruggs' host. Wilson is also from Montgomery. He said his mother and younger brother also enjoyed the visit.

Ruggs also heard what he needed to hear about Alabama's football plans for him.

"They presented all the opportunities I would have at the wide receiver position," Ruggs said. "(They want me) mostly as a slot receiver because of my height, but with the frame I have, it looks like I have a chance to grow a couple more inches, so I could play inside or out."

Ruggs said he plans to make his decision known on National Signing Day.

I got a PM here for copying and pasting premium material, but I assumed that it was for copying and pasting something from the LSUrb that turned out to be premium.

Maybe it was for paraphasing
