We got at least one silent.

SEC Country Article

However, what might be most interesting about Leatherwood’s recruitment of those eight elite athletes is that it appears he is not acting alone. He seems to be partnering with a silent commit. Leatherwood, though, refused to give any hint as to who he might be working with on the recruiting trail. “Me and another name that I cannot reveal have been recruiting for a while now,” Leatherwood said.

I know of a few strong leans privately that could be committed.

Moultry
Ruggs
Ray
Rice
Devonta Smith
Nico Collins
Troxell
Randolph
Jeudy
Atlas Herrion's son (a DE... can't recall the name and am on phone so it's inconvenient to look it up).
Wyatt Davis

I'm sure I'm forgetting some. And that's not even counting guys like Shaun Wade, Cowan, and others that some are saying may commit soon.

Would be nice, but he's obviously going to come right down to Signing Day regardless of what he says privately right now.

Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine Richland quarterback Phil Jurkovec says his latest offer comes from Alabama.

247Sports ranks the 6-foot-5, 190-pound Jurkovec as the No. 1 dual-threat passer in 2018.

As a sophomore Jurkovec threw for 2,560 yards and 20 touchdowns to just four interceptions. Electric with his legs he added another 1,250 yards rushing and 11 scores.

I have tried to understand why recruits would want to leave Louisiana for that place and have come to realize it can only be for selfish reasons. Ultimately, by choosing them, they are conveying the message of not caring about the support of their friends and community. Not only now, but for the rest of their lives. They'll always be known as the people who shunned home to join the enemy. As big as football is at LSU, there is just no reason to leave, except to be spiteful. JMHO

I love how this guy advocates excommunicating kids that choose Alabama from Louisiana society, but it's just his "humble" opinion.

I have never understood this mentality, all the while gladly accepting kids from Texas, Florida, etc.

Askew is like Alvin Kamara on steroids when it comes to recruiting against Bama. Has never had too much nice to say about us.

Plus, it could burn a bridge with the school or coach.
