Yes all of Bama's RBs are back next year but if Harris is as good as advertised, PT is there for the taking:
Harris- Quietly put up a 1000 yard season. Very quietly. Harris showed flashes of why Bama recruited him but he's not the consistent bell cow back we covet that can make his own yards when nothing is there.

Bo-He's every bit the beast he was advertised to be and is what we want in an every down back, but he's a fragile beast that gets nicked up often and can't be relied upon for a 15 game season.

Jacobs- Shifty, quick change of pace guy with some power but not the bruiser we are used to in the backfield.

Emmons- Runs angry and doesn't avoid contact. Looked good in limited action until a foot injury sidelined him for the rest of the year.

So which one of these guys is scaring Najee away??

In fairness, Henry only had one year being "the guy".

Against my better judgement I brought the Najee rumors to BOL.

I'm sure I'll wake up to at least 50 downvotes.

Would be just a giant dick move to screw us over at this point in the process, after already costing us the commitment of the next best rb in the class with no time to recover, after having been committed for 2 years. Seems out of character.

Dont think there is much to that USC guys inside info,he doesnt know much about Alabama's recuitment of Najee and how deep the roots go. Thats not to say that Najee cant flip but his information in this regard seems highly suspect.

I'm not buying. What it seems to me is that the kids wants to come to Alabama and not be bothered by his decision.

He isn't an attention whore and he isn't about screwing anyone over. If he was flipping I honestly think he would have told Tosh by now and we'd have been offering other RBs.

These "insiders" are using his quietness as a reason that he is trying to bolt. That would be normal rationale if the kid was like the others. He isn't. With a kid like him it is far more likely he wants to stay but doesn't want to get harrassed by the schools he turned down. Especially Michigan who have turned things up insanely on him.

I guess there is that "perception" that Bama wears out its backs, when in reality the touches are spread out. Thanks for that stat Mag didn't know that.

Bama will not have a hard time getting running backs. Got several now that can play winning ball. Would not cry if he went to UM but would like him to stick.

Absolutely correct! I'd love to see him come, but if he does, we're gonna lose at least 1 of the guys that we've got now. The RB position is probably the most secure position that we've got. Imo, Leatherwood should be our most prized recruit this year so far.
If Aubrey comes, you can throw him in too.

Harris won't play if he can't read defensive alignments and be able to pick up blitzing LBs, and effectively pass block. Saban doesn't allow it. If he can (which I doubt, coming in) then he'll see the field, but you better expect a learning curve here. Kids with his talent aren't asked to do much of the grunt work in high school, but it's essential to play at Alabama.

That poster has no dog in the fight. He has not followed Najee, SC gave up on him a long time ago. Some rumors that we've reengaged but I'm not buying it. He's only relaying what he's heard (to SC fans). UM fans got word of it and it's now spreading everywhere

All I can tell you is he's one of the better posters USC has. He's been on point with so many predictions over the years.

The Michigan mod said that Najee had to be asked twice if he were still a commit before he answered "sure".

If he flips, screwing us out of Akers in the process, I'll be pissed
