Your TE crossing routes belong to Bama. Yikes.

Evans has the potential to get many sacks and grab many INTs (if he has the hands for it).

Just watched Joshua Jacobs remix highlight again and all I can do is laugh at those one or two posters who were hating on him in the 2016 megathread.
He literally is just like Cam Akers.... he's just faster. Way faster.
Yet he was a RB we couldn't lose and according to those few Jacobs was a RB we should never look at.
Amazing the power of "stars" when it comes to recruiting.

I think he played QB almost full time so nobody had a good read on him as a RB.

SIAP: Alabama lands 2016 walk-on WR Giles Amos
"Playing for the University of Alabama is a dream of mine and I can't wait to get started and showcase my God-given abilities in Tuscaloosa," Amos told BamaOnline. "I had some smaller school offers from some fantastic schools, but I felt that walking on at Alabama was a once in a life time opportunity I couldn't pass up."
The visit to see T-Town on Friday greatly impressed the Peach State receiver.
"I just loved the whole place," Amos said. "The campus and facilities are beautiful."
Throughout his career at Westfield, Amos was a 3x All-State and All-Region selection. The 6-foot-4, 218-pound receiver caught 98 passes for 2,155 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Yes... and so does Cam Akers.
The difference is one has more stars than the other and those posters I was speaking about apparently value stars over actual play and ability.
Anyways, kid looks like he will be a stud.

Mora must be friends with Brian Williams

I wouldn't be surprised. Mora is known to have some "creative" dealings and acquaintances.

Daulton Hyatt Committed to Arkansas. QB from Etowah HS.

I think he's a good get for them. I've been hearing pretty good things about him for over a year now. Think he'd be a good fallback for us if we struck out on some of our other targets. I also think Bert is a good talent evaluator.

Fantastic news. It means they probably won't go after Taylor Powell.

3 star, that played for Arab for the last 3 years. Transferred to Etowah for his Sr year. Wish him luck but I don't see him being an SEC QB.

5* CB Shaun Wade (Ohio State commit) just named Alabama his number 2 school and Florida his number 3 school. He was born and raised in Montgomery while his mother grew up in Tuscaloosa.
quote:
Your mother grew up in Tuscaloosa, what has she told about that area and what it’s like there?
“Actually, I’m from Alabama,” Wade said. “I was born and raised living in (Montgomery) Alabama.”
What do you like about Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama?
“I’ve got family down there so I have somebody to go visit all the time,” Wade said. “Coach Nick Saban … all the coaches are real cool, I got to know them.”
What really grabs you when you think about Alabama?
“One thing, they’ve won championships,” Wade said. “The coaches, they’re going to get you set for life. Talking to Nick, he said if you don’t make it to the league I’ll still help you out in life – life situations, business, or whatever I major in he’s going to help me out.”
How much of a factor is Alabama right now?
“They’re a big factor right now,” Wade said. “Alabama is probably my number two and Florida is probably my number three right now.
“Alabama is probably two because it’s home for me. That’s really the reason, it’s home. Florida is number three because I know T-Gray (Torrian Gray). We’re just real close. I knew T-Gray when he was Virginia Tech. I think me and him would be a good fit together. Him teaching me and getting me to the next level.”
What do you see when looking at Alabama’s depth chart?
“They’ve got a couple DBs that are going to be leaving soon,” Wade said. “I think they had two freshman come in last year – I forgot their names – that will be leaving soon, so I think I’ll be straight to come in.”
Is starting from day one or just being a part of the program more important to you?
“It’s equally important,” Wade said. “If I don’t start it’s probably going to be my fault because I ain’t working hard enough. I’ve got to work hard to get my position.”
What’s your status with Ohio State at the moment?
“I’m still 100 percent to Ohio State,” Wade said. “I just want to see what’s out there for other options.”
