Fromm is going to Georgia because that's where he always wanted to play.

He shouldn't have been suggesting otherwise just days prior to flipping.

This wasn't some negative recruiting deal, and it didn't really have anything to do with Alabama.

Matter of perspective.

if you're upset about some quotes he gave to a recruiting site, that's on you. you would think some of you guys would have learned by now.

nothing bad to say about Fromm. if he wants to go to uga, good for him.

Emmons got the test score he needed. He will take the ACT again in hopes he get a higher score just in case his GPA drops.

So he got the act score he needs to qualify, but he wants to take the test again just for insurance?

for the clearinghouse, the test score and gpa work in conjunction on a sliding scale. if his gpa were to come in lower than expected, it could change his score requirement. until his gpa is final, there is no way to know for sure. as the poster said though, the source for the report is very optimistic he should qualify with the current score.

so yes, for insurance in that sense.

According to Rivals, D Robertson signed financial aid papers (non-binding) with Cal. There's an excerpt in the D Robertson thread on the recruiting board

Emmons.

Emmons has over 20 pounds on Akers, and moves just as well. Emmons is very sudden and has a lot of wiggle for a guy his size. He is going to be a stud.

He also lined up at WR for his hs team running good routes and showing great hands. Emmons is the total package. Kiffin will have a field day utilizing Emmons.

I agree with Emmons having 20 lbs and being faster. He's in the 4.4-4.5 range. Akers is 4.7 last I saw. I think it will be tough for him to adjust from playing QB in HS to RB in college. I think he's good but I never liked the way he ran the ball. It was very wreckless. I would have loved to have Akers as an athlete. He's not a pure RB.
