we got a top 50 commitment last night. I have no idea who other than it's not Ruggs.
Jarez Parks fits that bill.

Well this is terrible, terrible news for one of our commitments:

Damn. Prayers sent to Jerry and his family.

Alabama wide receiver commitment Jerry Jeudy should be enjoying the final weeks of his high school career. Instead, he's dealing with a tragedy no teenager should ever have to face, the loss of his sister.
"I love you sis," Jeudy Tweeted last Saturday. "You in a better place now, I swear I'm going to make it for you and mommy. #RipAaliyah"
The news, posted on Twitter, came after Deerfield Beach's (Fla.) state quarterfinals win over Atlantic.
According to the Miami Herald's Andrew Uloza, Jeudy being around his teammates is how the senior is attempting to find solace.
“First and foremost we had to give him his space,” Bucks coach Jevon Glenn told Uloza. “Everyone grieves differently. So we gave him his space, but let him know we’re here for him. Luckily, what we’ve created here with the bonds with his family, he finds solace being here with his brothers, being here with Beach Boy family.
“He took it pretty hard, very, very hard actually. But as the week has gone on and he’s gotten into his routine, being around the guys and sitting in here with me during his online class, he’s gotten back to the norm for him. I’m quite sure his heart is still heavy, but he knows he’s got us and he’s leaning on his teammates right now and I think that’s what’s helped him.”
You can bet as the five-star receiver prepares for a state semifinals bout with Southridge, he'll be playing for a much greater purpose than ever before -- the memory of his 7-year-old sister.

On Thursday evening, Florida State wide receivers coach Lawrence Dawsey made his way to Montgomery (Ala.) to check on Robert E. Lee four-star wide receiver Henry Ruggs III.
Dawsey wasn't the only coach from a perennial power to stop by. Alabama wide receivers coach Billy Napier also made it by to see Ruggs last evening.
Multiple schools visiting the same prospect in the same day is the norm for big-time prospects this time of year.
With regards to the 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver, numerous schools remain heavily involved but the top three players in his recruitment at this time appear to be the Seminoles, Crimson Tide and Auburn.
Ruggs has set an official visit to Alabama for January 20th. He is also expected to officially visit FSU. The specific date for an FSU visit isn't yet locked in.
The Tide claims 100% of Crystal Ball predictions for Ruggs. He isn't expected to decide until near National Signing Day.

Just looked at my checking out. I got my bi-weekly check (salary), quarterly bonus, reimbursement from my expense report for mileage, hotel, and food deposited for the month of November, and a hefty relocation package bonus. Daddy got paid today
Anyone got Shaun Wade's address? Asking for the bag man.

So Bama is at 23 right now. If they get to 28, who is the best guess to finish the class now? I heard some say they get to 30, but for a lot of the time I heard 27-29
OSU I still think the magic number is 21. 5 more and I'll say Okudah, Jaylen Harris, Tufele, Werner are the 4 I feel best about, with 1 more. I'll go with Smith right now, OSU lost a tackle prospect a few weeks ago so they are looking or another OL guy, and Tennessee is a dumpster fire.
Edit: If Bama flips Wade, I think OSU either fills that with Bolden or another OT to redshirt in a guy from Ohio

Kurelic said he is close to changing his CB to OSU. the 11w guy actually put his CB in for it. Kurelic is usually pretty good. Apparently his visit went really well last weekend

The OSU insider who writes for the Landof10 website tweeted this out recently.
"Bama and Ohio State are doing what Duke and Kentucky do in college basketball right now"

OSU keeps Smith from going to Tennessee and Bama will keep Wilson from going to Michigan. A win for Bama and OSU and it weakens their rivals.
