Ok here's the OSU update below. I'll quote the pieces on Browning and Wade:

LINK

quote:

Now, on to Browning. The 5-star from Kennedale, Texas, delayed his college decision – it was scheduled for Tuesday night – and there’s now no specific date picked out to announce a choice. Some folks are saying it could be Wednesday, or Thursday, or weeks from now. What is evident is that Ohio State’s efforts on his official visit didn’t go unnoticed. After speaking to sources close to his recruitment on Monday night, it seemed that something changed on the trip. “When he got to the game, it was in the second quarter,” the source said. “He wasn’t himself when (Ohio State) saw him after the game. To be honest he had been different since the ‘Bama trip, but by Sunday morning, it felt like he was himself again. Things were back to normal, laughing, joking around like he does.” Here’s what I think: Browning is coming back around to the Buckeyes, and Werner, too, will end up in Columbus. This is why recruiting can be so challenging to cover. Things change, literally, every day.

And there it is. Dots connected.

Kiffin has known Tua for a while...there's just no way we would make this offer without having a confirmation that Lane is on board.

haun Wade and Alabama Monday night, I mentioned that the race for Shaun Wade may be coming into the homestretch. The country’s fourth-ranked cornerback made an official visit to Tuscaloosa over the weekend. On Monday night, he was visited by a handful of Ohio State coaches, including Tim Beck and Kerry Coombs. Beck was in Jacksonville, Fla., the entire day Monday. Following the visits, I am going to reiterate what I’ve said for some time: I believe Wade prefers Ohio State, but he’s done the right thing by taking some trips and experiencing the totality of the recruiting process. I believe Wade would like to maintain his commitment to the Buckeyes. Alabama has an edge in proximity to home, but beyond that, everything else – more importantly the relationships between the coaching staff and the Wades – leans toward the Buckeyes. This past weekend was a “good” trip to Alabama, and that’s expected. The Crimson Tide are the country’s top-ranked team and a well-oiled recruiting machine. They hosted a number of their top targets, in their biggest rivalry game of the season. Still, somehow, someway, the reports out of Alabama are that the Crimson Tide may not have really “blown away” the family. That’s very, very big for the Buckeyes. Over the last few weeks, I’ve grown more and more optimistic that Ohio State can hold on to Wade, and I believe it more today. It’s not over, of course. There are at-home visits ahead for all the other contenders, but Alabama has been, and remains, the real concern. Still, as an early enrollee looking to finalize his plans, something will have to break sooner rather than later.

Myles doesn't seem pleased to say the least . It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Ryan Bartow confirmed with Tua's family that he has no intention of visiting LSU and will be enrolling early at Alabama.

Does LSU want to cut ties with one of their QBs? By offering Tua, it looks like they aren't satisfied with one of the kids.

L6U folks think L6U getting err'body.

Ohio State folks think they're getting err'body.

Bout normal for this time of the year.

So OSU is basically getting everybody they want this year? Which would be a first in the history of college football recruiting.

I'm beginning to have flashbacks of Coach O and Kiffin at Tennessee. Never much of a threat, but annoying little gnats

Nah not everybody they wanted.

They wanted Cam Akers bad for example. They want Marvin Wilson bad and probably won't get him (hopefully still). They wanted Hines bad and won't be getting him.

But I did say a month or so ago I thought they finished with Okudah, Browning, Harris and Tufele. Browning was long considered a lean before last week.

If Wade did go to Bama, OSU was going to probably get Bubba Bolden.

Kendall Sheffield...what happened with him? OSU trying to get him too

When was the last time coach didn't get 95% of the kids he really wanted? How many years in a row #1 recruiting. If a player in being recruited heavy and doesn't sign with Bama then we don't need him. You got to want wear that Crimson Jersey.
Don't worry be of good faith.

So an "insider" on BOL is saying Browning's parents (apparently mom) are pushing really hard for Ohio State right now.

It appears they are really taking advantage of our staff being unable to make in-home visits while they prepare for Florida and they are done with their season.

It is what it is.

Kendall Sheffield may be the gift that keeps on giving:

quote:

Sheffield was also at OHST this past weekend and they stopped by to see him today. I'm sure his parents probably spoke with Browning's. Starting to make sense now why maybe his parents don't want him at Bama or I could just be reading to much into things. Where there is smoke there usually is fire.
