Oh good grief. Another Georgia kid dragging out his recruitment

I understand kids want to make the best decision, but screw delaying for longer than a week. There needs to be a cutoff time.

There is. It's in April. But that ultimately doesn't stop a kid from enrolling somewhere even later and the school finding a scholarship to award.

Saint, do you think we would take a commit from Walters at this point?

Did he camp at BAMA last summer?

Just doesn't seem like Saban's style to take a QB at this point.

If he does,Roll Tide!

To be honest I really don't know.

It's going to be hard to follow up Hurts, Tua and Mac Jones with another elite talent at QB in 2018 unless we have an advantage like the kid being a legacy IMO.

Having said that, Walters is a legacy as is Jalen Mayden.

Some guy posted this on BOL:

quote:

Not much, but my coworker said he had a random conversation yesterday with Dylan's aunt and she told him about how Dylan was ready to commit to LSU the week Les Miles got canned. However, as soon as Les got fired, Dylan made-up his mind to roll with the Tide. My friend then told me about how the aunt talked about how aggressively he was recruiting Browning, and sure enough I get on the board 15 minutes ago and see the tweet Dylan posted, which gave my friend's story the credibility it needed for me to share this info with y'all. Finally I asked my friend how solid Dylan was with Alabama because of his recent visit to LSU and insider innuendos on this board about him wavering. My friend said that his aunt was pretty adamant about his commitment to Alabama and she was convinced LSU had no chance. The aunt talked about how he's already packing and getting himself ready for Tuscaloosa. In closing, I asked my friend to see if he could find out about Joshua Kaindoh or any other recruits from IMG. My friend said he would get back to me. Stay tuned if I get a response...RTR!!

quote:

My friend followed-up with me early! Happy Thanksgiving BTW. Apparently, if Dylan has recruited someone (Kaindoh) to bring with him from IMG (and the aunt said there may be no one), his dad has advised him to keep it under wraps. Nothing earthshattering and slightly underwhelming, but as I think about it, why would he need that advice if there is no smoke? Anyway, that's my initial reaction, and I could very well be reading too much into my friends response. So, TIFWIW and RTR!!!

Exact exert from friend, "Moses pops is a lawyer. If Moses is bringing someone, and she's not sure if he is, his dad would have him keep it under wraps right now. That's what she said..."

Guy I have trusted with OSU says Browning to Bama may have been done Wednesday:

LINK

quote:

Then everything changed. Initially, reports from Tuscaloosa were that the Tide didn’t feel all that confident in their positioning, even after the official visit. Now, though, things are way, way different. In fact, a source close to Alabama’s recruiting efforts informed me on Thursday that Browning actually committed to Nick Saban’s staff on Wednesday night. But he’s still visiting Ohio State this weekend. So there’s a chance for the Buckeyes. Ohio State needs a linebacker like Browning. Alabama, which already has the country’s top-ranked outside linebacker (Dylan Moses) committed, has done an incredible job of bridging the gap and maybe it has closed it completely. I’ve spoken to sources close to the Buckeyes and they will admit that things have been trending away from them, but this weekend gives them a chance to prove once and for all to Browning and his family why they’ve been at the top of the list for months. A final decision for Browning is coming on Tuesday. Right now, all signs point to Alabama.

Yea, this seems fishy for the entire thing

Wasn't there a guy, maybe OSU's RT now Prince, who committed to Bama when pressured and then switched to OSU?
