SDH is the next great ILB for the Tide. Ragland or Foster didn't do anything until their Jr years, when they became a superstar. Hamilton has played more then they did their freshman and sophomore years. Don't write him off.
I like SDH, but I see him in the Nico Johnson and Trey DePriest mold. Now I know he has a completely different skill set, but I mean a 3/4 year starter/contributor who is always solid, but never a superstar. I of course hope he becomes a superstar.

Who knows how he will be in a full time role.
Posted on 2/22/16 at 8:11 pm to AllBamaDoesIsWin
I agree. Nobody close to the program really thinks he has star potential, but can be a solid player, a good run-stopping ILB, and a very good help in the locker room and as a recruiter (helped a lot with Mack Wilson). He's probably not going to be what remaster thinks, but will be an asset to the program.

SDH is going to be the other ilb starter
Actually. Probably not. He and Reuben both play the same ILB position. My money is on Ben Davis. He's McClain and Mosley hybrid.
Nico Johnson was the starter before Mosley came and then was only in against the run. I expect SDH to remain a rotation lb

Dylan Moses has lost his grip on the No. 1 spot in the 2017 247Sports Composite.
Alabama running back commit Najee Harris (Antioch, Calif./High) is now the No. 1-ranked prospect in the recruiting industry-generated ranking following the latest updates.
Moses had been No. 1 in the since its initial release, but won’t be the wire-to-wire top prospect in the class. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound rising senior linebacker prospect has been a national name since earning offers from the likes of LSU and Alabama as an eighth grader and his commitment to the Tigers during his freshman year at Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab. He’s since opened things back up and will play his senior season at IMG Academy in Florida alongside several of the nation’s top prospects.
Harris took the top spot in the 247Sports rankings from Moses earlier this month. His high school coach, John Lucido, talked with 247Sports Director of Scouting Barton Simmons at the time about what makes the big back such a special player.
"He's a tall back but he's a low runner," Lucido said. "When it comes to contact, he can put his hand on the ground, he gets underneath people. He's really flexible in that way. He doesn't run tall. He drops his hips and he's really quick with it. You see big backs run upright all the time. He plays really low. He plays like a small back but he's 6-2."
While Harris is currently No. 1 by the slightest margin (0.9993 247Sports Composite index vs. 0.9992 for Moses), it’s very possible we’ll see another player in the top spot before the final industry rankings for the 2017 class are posted next January.

New Five-stars
Other movers and new 247Sports Composite five-star prospects include Michigan quarterback commit Dylan McCaffrey (Littleton, Colo./Valor Christian), who is the younger brother of Heisman Trophy runner-up Christian McCaffrey of Stanford. Dylan moved up 20 spots to No. 18 overall and is now the nation’s No. 1-ranked pro-style QB prospect.
Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage offensive tackle Tedarrell Slaton (up from No. 46 to No. 22) and Sebastian (Fla.) Sebastian River defensive end Jarez Parks (No. 32 to No. 30).
Here is a look at some of the other movers in the recruiting industry-generated 247Sports Composite following the latest updates:
DT Tyler Shelvin (LSU commit) - 21 to 15
WR Tee Higgins - 24 to 16
WR Joseph Lewis - 25 to 20
WR Jerry Jeudy - 42 to 34
OT Alex Leatherwood (Alabama commit) - 73 to 52
OT Austin Deculus - 82 to 62
OG Tyrese Robinson (Oklahoma commit) - 86 to 77
CB Chevin Calloway - 92 to 83
LB VanDarius Cowan - 104 to 97
OT Robert Hainsey - 163 to 105
OT Navaughn Donaldson - 129 to 108
DT Ja'len Parks (Florida State commit) - 141 to 130
LB Jaden Hunter (Georgia commit) - 161 to 131

Class of 2017 Recruiting MEGATHREAD: Still Waiting on Demetris Robertson Edition
new highlight reel for Gehrig dieter: LINK
Man he is good
Another level above Mullaney, a lot stronger hands and knows how to shield and adjust and move into position on fades
Reminds me a hell of a lot of Jordy Nelson a couple years ago, he's gonna be a starter next year, I know Mullaney played slot a lot, Gehrig is bigger and faster IMO
At ILB wouldn't be surprised to see Evans as a guy who comes in as a coverage guy to use his speed on TEs and against the spread, needs to get a lot better in coverage though. I could see Ben Davis seeing some snaps and SDH as a downhill inside the box guy against more physical teams, all depends on Evans development this offseason

I think I speak for all of us here when I request that we reinstate Pinche Cabron (or whatever the screen name is). He really didn't deserve to be oppressed like he has been from the barbarous totalitarian mods on here. It really is criminal what was done to him.

What percentage of confidence would you guys put on us signing Najee Harris?
25% sure we sign him? 50%? 75%?
