UGA has offered Aaron Sterling.

Aaron Sterling committed to Alabama Christmas day, but that was before he had an offer from in-state Georgia. The Bulldogs offered Saturday, so what does that mean?
Kirby Smart and the new Georgia coach staff have sent out many new offers since taking over in December and another one went out Saturday.
This one went to Alabama commit Aaron Sterling. The 6-foot-2, 255 pound defensive end out of Stone Mountain (Ga.) was in Athens (Ga.) for a visit Saturday when Smart gave him the news.
"Coach Smart offered me and it surprised me," said Sterling. "When we talked, he told me that he liked my film, and that he needed pass rushers like me."
Sterling had visited Georgia before, so it was not his first time on campus. He knew what Georgia was about, but the new coaching staff, the education Georgia offers, and the facilities stood out to him Saturday.
With the in-state offer now, the question is how strong is he to Alabama?
"I have some thinking to do," Sterling said when asked about that. "I am still committed to Alabama, but I am open, and I am going to take visits to other schools."

Will Ignont says Auburn still leads. He will visit Auburn, Alabama, and Georgia during his spring break.

But we have Saban and seem to never miss a beat when a player decommits. Also look at how many we miss on, especially with players we miss on that become 1st round draft picks from other schools and we still have 4 titles under Saban. That will be the hardest thing to replace once Saban leaves in my opinion. The ability to evaluate so much talent and the land a class that fill the needs.

Do you think Alabama will lose any kids to Georgia? I mean in the end game I can't see that happening.

We did three weeks ago.

We lost Tyler Simmons to UGA, but I hardly consider that a loss (personally).

Now that CKS is there we will lose some that normally would have come here.

Once he falls flat on his face in big games the recruits will see that Georgia is Georgia regardless

Bama doesn't have time for any 3*'s

Some three stars are underrated. Some are not.
I know that both Smart and Saban have forgotten more football than I will ever know, but I was not impressed with Simmons' highlights. Even when he broke our commitment drought I was "meh" on him.
I will, however, be a little butthurt if Robertson ends up picking UGA when all is said and done.

I've given up on Robertson, I hope he makes it into Stanford

— Scout 100 center Cesar Ruiz says he'll be releasing his top schools in a couple of weeks, but plans to visit Florida, Florida State and Miami in the near future. Ruiz also mentions Alabama, Auburn, North Carolina, Michigan, and Rutgers as likely visit destinations over the fall.

— Will Ignont may have moved to Florida to play at IMG Academy, but his heart is still in the state of Alabama. The Auburn Tigers have a big lead for the four-star linebacker. He thinks Notre Dame is close to offering, and if the Irish does, they will jump into the race. Ignont was invited to The Opening Finals Sunday and Auburn is trending in a big way.

We got a CB for JUCO linebacker Gary Johnson from Demetric Warren.

Demetrius Robertson's basketball team got knocked out of the playoffs this weekend.
I wonder what his excuses will be now when he cancels visits to Alabama and Georgia.

According to 2 sources that spoke with Tim Watts, both think Bama is a Major player for DT Marvin Wilson, and wouldn't be surprised if he named Bama his leader after his visit this weekend. People close to him thinks he will leave the state, and at the end of the day the two schools that will battle for his signature will be Bama and LSU. Should help Bama that we didn't sign a big D Line class this year

That would be huge.
Wilson is a beast.
