7 for 133 against utk. He tore them up.

He won't catch 94 passes for us. But keep in mind that, while BG throws it around a ton, they distribute it between 4-5 WRs, as they go 4-5 wide almost all the time. He's a monster. Mullaney on steroids. Let's just hope he does all the little things that Mullaney does like block and buy into the team concept. If he does, then we need to enjoy this WR unit like we did the 2015 DL. Because position groups like that don't come around very often anywhere.

I think Dieter is a great prospect. My issue is who suffers because he comes here? How does this affect our future recruiting WRs?

Who loses playing time?

- Ridley can't.
- If we start using four wide it means OJ wasted his time coming back.
- Ardarius Stewart seems to be the coaches "guy" and he got a little better at the end of he season.

So is it Robert Foster? If so that sucks and it is a bad advertisement and a negative recruiting tool for us in future.

Again, I'll restate Dieter is good and I'd love to have him, but with this take there is going to be some give.

I will say I'd rather get Dieter than adding a RB transfer. That would have destroyed our chances at retaining Najee or Cam Akers for 2017.

Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Alabama #Blessings #RollTide

Just watched his highlights.

He has great size, but our DE commitment Aaron Sterling is the better player. At least right now.

If we move Stewart to the Drake role then Dieter would take his spot out wide.

I was under the impression Harris would play that role...

You know I a big fan of Robert Foster. I just don't want to see a kid I know is better than Laquan Treadwell not even get shine here because of injury and now a transfer.

What would be even worse is the negative recruiting.

I think Foster will be fine.

He was a beast before the injury and he should pick up right where he left off.

Having him and Ridley on the field at the same time is going to give opposing defenses fits.

Is the possibility of Sims or Faulkins transfer real, if we bring in a transfer?

This was something I was thinking about last night. Why take Dieter when:

1. He only has 1 year of eligibility and we have Ridley, Stewart, Foster, and OJ returning
2. His transfer might cause Sims, Falkins, or Kief to get frustrated and transfer hurting depth post-2016 which could be a concern since we largely whiffed on WRs in the '16 class

But really Sims and Falkins won't have much eligibility post-2016 anyway and I don't see Kief being more than a role player so I think it makes sense to bring Dieter in if we think he can help us for a year.

The best 2-4 will play. Almost 100 receptions and 1000 yards? 10tds? Yes please.

- When interviewing 2017 quarterback Jake Fromm (Warner Robins, Ga./Houston Co.), it was apparent early on that there was some effort being made not to mention any program other than Alabama, the school he is committed to. Fromm does appear solid in his commitment to the Tide at the moment, but the same day I visited him, Bulldogs' offensive coordinator Jim Chaney stopped by the school. Fromm did agree that the push from Kirby Smart, his recruiter of record at Alabama, to now consider Georgia has created a "unique and different situation." It will be interesting to see what Georgia does with Fromm, who plans to enroll early.

- Since he de-committed from Alabama, Top200 offensive lineman Netori Johnson (Ellenwood, Ga./Cedar Grove) lists the Crimson Tide as his leader, followed by Auburn at No. 2 and Georgia at No. 3. Pushing 330 pounds, Johnson definitely has the size that Bulldogs offensive line coach Sam Pittman is looking for at guard.

Off topic:

PSA for us Bama fans. A good friend of mine spacewrangler wants everyone to know not to post L5U in your post on any of the TD sites. He has been on post quality review since Nov for posting it in a post on the coaches changes board. Apparently sensitive L5U fans RA'd his post enough to get him on a ban. He didn't receive a warning nor has he been previously banned in the 5 years he had posted. I'm sure most everyone knows not to use L5U on TD boards but thought I would share his story.

Really a bitch move to ban him for posting L5U but at the time the sting from 5 in a row was still really sore, they were in a nuclear meltdown with the November fold and DH stealing LFs spotlight and his Heisman chances.
