UTK folks furious at Ole Mi$$ and Kongbo's dad: (From Mike Farrell)

"I think #OleMiss recovers from Simmons with Kongbo, hearing dad wants #HottyToddy and might not even sign if #Vols was pick. Drama."

How realistic are our chances with D Brown? Do we really have a decent shot or is it more realistic that we are a hat on the table? Also, are we still ok with Hall?

No one knows with Brown.

Garcia said this morning that Hall is torn between FSU and Bama.

I'm happy about Joshua Jacobs. For the shite that one poster (PowHound) gives him, he looks to be a special all purpose back.

When I watch his film he reminds me of Lesean McCoy (Eagles, Bills).

Yeah... the next Lesean McCoy played in Oklahomas backyard for 4 years, and NOBODY noticed.

Gawtdayum dude you got butthurt as hayul over some Jacobs. Look no one has ever heard of him, and if Penn would have inked with Bama JJ would not have been allowed to sign with Bama.

Which one of Bamas 5* RB's is he gonna beat out ?

Are you related to him or something ?

Why are some of you this stodgy in your thinking? Some of you think that it is IMPOSSIBLE for someone to slip through the cracks until late in the process. Most don't think this way, but for the life of me I don't understand the small percentage of you that do.

Heck, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, and Missouri came hard after the guy the last week or so after his video was released. This isn't a theory. It's what actually happened. What is so difficult to process about that?

Wilson and Hall only puts us at 23 commits. Why so much greyshirt talk?

I honestly think some of these guys said they were coming when they aren't. They're kids. Not all of em are stand up and telling someone (especially Saban) no can probably be very intimidating. Kids make mistakes (not choosing someone else, but not manning up and telling someone the truth so you avoid heat)

Still think they should tell Cole it's all good and give him the chance to commit for a scholarship with no GS talk. If it means that much to him let the kid have it. I think he's not ready but if the numbers work who cares

What greyshirt talk. They told a kid its a possibility. With Irv Smith we already have Forristall on campus so no need to take 3 TE.

My guess is we decided that 2017 has a big group of elite kids and we would rather grab a few more then if we struck out on some 50/50s than take lesser kids now.

But that's a totally uneducated guess.

Might've been because he had an injury shortened season his junior year and was under the radar. He had an awesome senior year and major schools started picking up on him late...at least one other blue blood, Oklahoma, offered him as well...think he might surprise...

Interesting article on him: LINK
