So we struck out on the toss ups from MS(AJ n Simmons), Wilson and Hall sign with us. Who else do u think we have a good shot of landing?

I think our "insiders" drank a lot of the koolaid this past week.

Simmons was a private commitment. Saban even told the Mobile REC in some private conversations that he'd committed to him. But we never felt completely confident.
I'd imagine that the fact that MSU's class has been a disaster might have driven them to do everything possible to get Simmons. Good get for State. Gut punch for us in that state once again.

why is everybody freaking out about simmons? who actually believed he was going to bama? all the talk was ole miss, so in my book him going to miss state is a win

I'm happy about Joshua Jacobs. For the shite that one poster (PowHound) gives him, he looks to be a special all purpose back.
When I watch his film he reminds me of Lesean McCoy (Eagles, Bills).
Kid looks like he can be a beast. Terrifying matchup player as well.
I'm glad with Jamar King. His film looks better than Simmons film anyways. I just hope to close out both Terrell Hall and Lyndell Wilson. Derrick Brown would be nice, but I just can't believe lol.

I don't get the meltdown over Simmons. We knew there was a 50/50 shot at best. Yeah it sucks, but that happens EVERY YEAR
