FTR UT fans are hearing from their sites that they are still in it for BJ Emmons and if Kamara declares for the draft they have a legit shot at getting him on campus for a visit.
I have heard nothing from his coaches that would suggest he has any interest in UT. When he decommitted from UGA Jones was hard after him but he picked UA and has not looked back. Recruiting things can change but do not see that happening here.

I'm not even going to try and guess. Wayyyy too many factors at play right now. Plus, Saban's board changes by the day.

Jonathan Kongbo: Alabama offered Kongbo in December, as well as sent defensive line coach Bo Davis to see the 6-foot-5.5, 264-pounder during the contact period.
"(Davis) told me about the opportunity that was at Alabama," Kongbo told BamaOnline in December. "He talked about how he plays all his D-linemen and that I had to chance to be in the rotation and earn some minutes.
"I know Alabama has a rich tradition. It’s one of the bigger names in college football. It’s big and traditional program with a lot of history to it."
Alabama is among the schools Kongbo is considering taking an official visit to in the coming weeks, with Jan. 15 being the most likely date.

With USCw hiring Muschamp (who will field a competent D for the Gamecocks) and then him getting that offer it changed things with him
He is looking for the best shot at PT I'm sure since he is a JuCo
Bama's offer made him start looking but not decommit....Muschamps offer made him decommit
Hard to find lightning in a bottle a 2nd time after Jarran Reed
I'll wait to see if he even ends up visiting

Sorry Bucc... the USC being mentioned is the one on the West Coast. The Trojans, not the Gamecocks.

"I am just going to try and sort through it all and make the best of my two official visits," Mayden explained.
"I have a visit set up with Florida State on January 15th and LSU is a maybe."
Mayden went on to explain that Alabama is also still in the picture and could be in the mix to receive the final official.
One more school to keep an eye on is possibly Oklahoma, where his father (James Mayden) starred in basketball.

Mique Juarez
Deciding between UCLA, Ole Miss, and Alabama. Currently UCLA and Ole Miss are at the top but he is officially visiting us on January 22nd and said "If I like Alabama, I will go there."
Doubt it, but worth the watch. Hopefully he goes to UCLA. Would not be a bad consolation prize if we don't get Mack Wilson.
Would be hysterical if we pulled him, Davis, and Wilson.

Naw man, Emmons literally said in the past week that he wanted all the schools trying to contact him to STFU, and leave him alone. He's had enough of the bullshite, and is ready to get started at Bama.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The nation’s No. 3 athlete has been told by Alabama coaches that he could be the next electrifying player for the Crimson Tide.
Jack Jones, a four-star cornerback/wide receiver/returner from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly, told SEC Country during a U.S. Army All-American Bowl media session that Alabama’s recruiting pitch is intriguing to him.
“They told me that I could play both sides of the ball, and that’s a big thing for me when I get to college,” Jones said. “They were thinking that I could be a Cyrus Jones type of player for them. That would be some big shoes to fill. I would be ready for the challenge, though.”
The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder has never visited Alabama before, but that will change Jan. 15 when he takes his official visit to Tuscaloosa. Jones says that visit will be a key factor when evaluating Alabama’s chances to sign him.
“I really want to see what the roster looks like,” Jones said. “I don’t know what to expect when I go there. I am just looking for a good experience. I want to see what they offer academically because it’s more than football for me. I also want to see if the team is a brotherhood and it’s not like just a group of people that hang out with each other.”
The biggest reason for why he has never visited Alabama before is because he lives on the other side of the country. Many recruiting analysts believe he’ll stay on the West coast, but he wants to be clear that he’s open to playing college football anywhere in the country.
“People could think what they want,” Jones said with a laugh.
The U.S. Army All-American will make his commitment known on National Signing Day. He says his five finalists are Alabama, Texas A&M, USC, UCLA and Oklahoma. If he does decide to choose the Tide, he knows why that would be.
“The reason why I would sign with Alabama is because they’re a great program,” Jones said. “I like what Coach (Nick) Saban is doing with his kids. He develops players on and off the field. He develops kids into grown men.”
Jones is rated as the nation’s No. 44 overall recruit and is the state of California’s No. 6 prospect.

MARRERO, La. — Within hours of receiving an offer from Alabama, 3-star Arkansas linebacker commit De’Jon Harris scheduled an official visit to Tuscaloosa, Ala.
While the order of his visits has changed for January for the John Ehret High School (Marrero, La.) product, a lot remains on the table for Harris over the next month as he has to decide between two SEC West powers and Colorado before National Signing Day (Feb. 3) rolls around.
“When you look at our kids and what we teach them, first is loyalty,” Ehret coach Corey Lambert said. “Arkansas has been there for a while. Alabama just came in, as they usually do with a school like that with so many 5-star guys. They do a great job of coming in late.
“It’s worth a chance to see what ‘Bama has and where you fit in at. Like Michael (Divinity), Harris is a 3-4 linebacker. Like Michael, 3-4 is what Alabama runs.”
Harris was originally going to nix an official visit to Colorado on Jan. 15 and instead head to Alabama. He will now visit Colorado on Jan. 15, as planned, then head to Arkansas on Jan. 22 and Alabama last on Jan. 29.
If the school is getting a visit, Lambert said, then they have a chance.
“I think whenever you’re taking a visit, you have the opportunity of having a chance,” Lambert said of Alabama’s chances of landing Harris.
As far as Arkansas goes, Lambert believes the Razorbacks can rest easy for now.
Arkansas offers Harris a chance to make an immediate impact, which might ultimately allow the Razorbacks to hold onto the linebacker.
“At Arkansas, there’s a chance of playing early,” said Lambert. “At Alabama, you have to check out the depth chart and see where you fit in with that.”
Harris, who has been committed to Arkansas since May, is rated as the nation’s No. 34 inside linebacker and Louisiana’s No. 46 prospect.
