WR TJ Simmons commits to Alabama.

footage looks impressive. catches with his hands, has decent separation, very physical ball runner, excellent blocker. If his top end speed is good, he could blossom into a very good player.

(HS footage is similar to Kevin Norwood's in some ways)

Sunseri was actually listed a couple pounds heavier coming out of high school than Anderson. I just know that analysts have said that from a size and skillset standpoint he's similar to Sunseri and will likely wind up at Safety. Agree that from a personnel standpoint LB (particularly ILB) would be better

I remember that name when I used to post over there.

Dickhead admin banned me b/c I tried to post from work once and apparently there was an auburn fan there who also posted and our IPs were the same.

Oh well, frick em.

yep. The only thing I really remember about over there, was me getting the word douche censored. I don't think I overused it, but sometimes the word douchebag is the only proper description.

For those wondering, I have new #Bama commitment T.J. Simmons at No. 14 on my in-state list for 2016. Big, strong, precise + great RAC.

Checking in from Korea. I see we got a commitment while I was in the air:

Y'all keep the thread going. I won't have access to Wifi every day over the next 3 weeks so make me proud.

All I want to know is if IMG is associated with the sports marketing company by the same name

(anyone else remember this?)

Simmons is a good player. VERY physical and a devastating blocker. Solid possession receiver. The big deal with him is that his teammate will be the best WR to come out of the state since Julio. Nico Collins in the c/o 2017 will be a 5* guy.

247 lists him at 6', 217 when he was at Northridge. Like I said, I'm not opposed to Keaton at ILB, but he would be a small ILB

would be small by our past standards, but maybe that's a good thing. Mosely was small compared to our others (played his career at bama between 230 and 238). If keaton can get in the ballpark of 235 he should be fine, as long as he still moves well. Mosely was about 212 coming out of hs

It seems like all of our front 7 commits the last couple of years have been smaller, except for NG. But Saban will always keep a ng around for run packages. There's been a change, and next year a lot of those guys will start to see starting reps.

Ben Davis is listed as a visitor for LSU's junior day. I guess that means he isn't visiting anymore

Marlon Davidson also listed on LSU's junior day list. He was supposed to visit here this weekend as well.
