Willie Allen backed off from naming Alabama his leader, says he hopes to have a top 10 soon. Sonny still thinks that he's leaning Alabama, but wants to play things close to the vest.

I would as well, have you seen how they treat you if you decide to leave their state. I would wait until the end.

Saw this tidbit on the LSUrb regarding Donavaughn Campbell

Why was Campbell wearing a Bama hat at a basketball game the day after he committed to LSU?

We wouldn't steal an oline from LSU, would we?

Fwiw, ALabamaIntel ("redfish") has been saying Campbell will likely flip for over two weeks now.

I'm not certain who it is that has said Campbell will flip (he might), but it wasn't redfish.

That's good news I guess. Sucks for the kids though.

was watching Keaton Anderson's highlights, anyone else think he ends up at MLB not safety? people keep saying hes the next sunseri, but he is already heavier coming out of HS than sunseri was leaving bama. Anderson is closer in size to cj mosely out of hs than sunseri. with all the great safeties that we got in this and last class i dont see him getting on the field at safety, especially if he gains more than 10 or 15 lbs (which he probably will). If he does bulk up but retains his speed he could end up being a real sleeper at MLB, with how thin we are going to be. from his film he looks like he has some real skill and instinct at the position

It's still early, so img has time to find a good replacement. Although I can't help but chuckle about a "high school"coach jumping to the NFL. Seriously, who does img actually play? Jucos? Prep Schools? There's no way they play regular high schools, since they recruit kids across the country to attend.

And what's up with their academics? I guess at least they have the balls to admit sports ate why kids attend it.

Alabama's 2016 commitment list grew to four on Thursday afternoon with the verbal pledge of T.J. Simmons of Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, Ala.) to Tide coach Nick Saban.

Simmons, 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, was a star receiver on Clay-Chalkville's Class 6A state championship team. Simmons was notified of his incoming Alabama offer on Wednesday and made the pledge official to Saban via phone Thursday.

Simmons was quick to recognize the congratulatory comments on his commitment via social media.

Simmons is currently the 21st-ranked prospect in the state per the 247Sports Composite.

I'm laughing that I'm still getting emails from Scout, even though it's been years since I've logged in to either account.

How old are the accounts?

One is CasterateVick, the other is AU Sociology Major (I had some fun with that one. )

WR TJ Simmons
in his highlights he looks like he pretty well rounded, appears to run good routes, have good speed, good hands, throws good blocks, makes plays in the open field. nice size with room to grow. will get the bama bump and end up a 4 star

IMO, I don't think he has the frame to play at around 230-235 like CJ did. I think S, nickle, or even a wlb position myself (although wlb would be a bad fit the way we currently play)

He would only have to put on 15 lbs (per 247) to be at 230. Not uncommon for a freshamn to put that on in a year of college s&c
