Is there any chance of us picking up Montel Mcbride again? IIRC, He should be included in this class if he graduates with an associates on time. I don't think he would count against schollys since he signed before JUCO

He's got 2 things working against him:

1) Bama doesn't plan on taking more than 1-2 Guards if that this year.
2) He's not gonna graduate until the Spring(enrolled in October), so he's not an EE.

I wish they'd let him play DT this year @ Iowa Western, I think he'd have a much better chance of re-signing. Bama wants a huge DL class due to expected attrition, and McBride played both ways in HS.

He really wants to be at Bama though, still considers himself a commit. Doesn't sound like they've given him a ton of contact though outside of tweeting with Cristobal. I hope they do though, especially when it's a guy who wanted to be at Bama, was offered by them, and is trying his best to get back there...

Agreed Mag...Mcbride wasn't bad at all at DT either and we are in a position of need on the DL in this yrs class

Best 17 possible? Or are they pulling a Mack Brown? If any school is capable of getting 17 did this early, due to location, it's Miami. I'm just skeptical that we are watching the U rebuild.

Calvin Ridley raised his ACT score. Looks like he will definitely qualify for early summer.

I think we only need Ben Davis. I think he will be the future at ILB. I would say we reall could use Davidson too on DL but we get Dlineman. We have lots of edge rushers so Mack would hurt but not that much.
