That NCAA rule exists because of Alabama. Bryant was placing guys on golf and swimming scholarships that didn't participate in either. Hell, I think he had Gene Stallings "coaching" the golf team. Lol.

His best 60m time (7.17) is comparable to that of Tony Brown (7.16) but slower than Humphrey (6.89) and Sylve (6.76). But that time for Marks is from 2014. Doesn't appear he ran 60m as a senior this past indoor season

Marks reminds me of Dee Hart. I'm not sure this kid will ever get quality reps, but we are in a position that we just need bodies at RB.

IMO he is nothing like Dee Hart. Hart was small but he was never a burner. Anyway im really happy this kid feel in our lap lol.

At 5'8 155lbs he's not providing much of a warm body. That seems small For a kicker much less a running back I don't know how well he can hold up to the rigors of the sec.

he is a last ditch effort for depth. In a normal world Bama would not have sniffed his jock strap. So you dont have to blow smoke up anyones skirt by drinking the koolaid. With that said I hope he proves me wrong but I dont see him playing year one and would not be surprised if he attrition's out after year 2. this is a forum for opinions so dont come up me for sharing mine.

so the marks kids football hilites was against texas class 5A schools. i know texas ranks high in high school football but how high do their rankings go? alabama goes up to 6A right? so if hes running against texas 5A, thats real good, right?

He's a KR/PR specialist and a specialist player on offense in certain situations. Emergency RB. And it's an AAU type deal. His dad has monster connections in Houston. That is a HUGE deal. Folks, quit panicking about us signing a small RB that's a 3*. He probably won't be playing much RB. He will, however, return kicks.

The 3 star doesn't bug me one bit. I'm just saying 5'8" and in particular 155# seems tiny. These guys he's going against are grown men
