Charles Power thinks Brady White is too small to play QB for Kiffin, yet this kid is about the same size.

Looks like Marlon's already more filled-out than Dre. Of course, that's not saying much.

Dre Kirkswag is nice and all, but am I the only one who thought Barron had more swag?

I had to check myself into DCH that morning, Kidney stone. I was probably the only person in an ER watching Signing Day though.

Getting kids to stop leaving at the half is easy too. Scan ACT cards on the way out.

You'll just have kids saying "I'm not a student, I got in a student guest ticket." The only way to really clamp down is to do away with the student guest tickets and THEN scan ACT cars on the way out.

Jake Fruhmorgen will announce in about 2 weeks. Looks to be Clemson.

quote:

The end of the recruiting process for OL Jake Fruhmorgen of Tampa is near and right now the decision is between Clemson and Florida. Fruhmorgen attended Clemson's junior day Saturday and stayed over to watch practice Monday before leaving Tuesday.

"He enjoyed it, they rolled out the red carpet," said Fruhmorgen's father John, a former lineman at Alabama. "We met the president of the school. We went to dinner Saturday night with Dabo (Swinney). We went to practice, which was the main reason went went up there, to see the culture of how they practice and the personnel. They are real short on tackles. It's a good fit from that end of it. Jack is long enough to play tackle."

"Everybody was really nice," Fruhmorgen continued. "He hung out a long with (GA) Dustin Fry and watched a lot of film with him. He met (commitments) Mitch Hyatt and Noah Green.

Fruhmorgen plans to make his decision within a couple of weeks and will hold an announcement at his school. He has been to Florida and the plan is for one more trip to Gainesville in the next week or so to watch a practice.

Alabama and Michigan made strong pitches for Fruhmorgen and LSU coach Les Miles talked to him recently on the phone. His father said he's ready to end all of the recruiting talk.

"He just needs to be comfortable and we've narrowed it down to those two I think. I think Jake wants to concentrate on his team and get the recruiting behind him. We were impressed by Clemson."

Fruhmorgen will graduate in December and enroll at his school of choice in January.

Kerryon Johnson and his father will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend. Kerryon had this to say regarding his commitment timetable:

quote:

"I'm trying to do it before the start of summer. I have a couple months left, but before the start of summer is what I'm aiming for."

Top 3 of Alabama, Auburn and Florida State still. Georgia and Pruitt are trying to get him to visit. Wants to play RB.

If the rumors are true about him negatively recruiting against us then he can go eat a bag of dicks. Alumni or not.

Saw this on the Georgia 247 board:

quote:

Jovon Robinson
Rating..5-Star Number overall player in junior college.
Crystal Ball..100% to Alabama
The Skinny..Robinson could be the best overall prospect in the country right now high school or college. He is a stud and unless something crazy happens he will end up at Alabama. Georgia is recruiting him though and it is never over until a prospect signs. Robinson could be a one and done type player wherever he goes.
