Thanks. I assumed so with him being in the DC area and Richie being a longtime Skin coach.

BOL said that Petitbon and his family are attending A-Day and that he could be on "commit watch" that weekend.

"I learned that you won't fully know about a college until you go there yourself. People tell me that Alabama is too big and that I'll never play if I go there, but only you know what you are capable of based on what you see. You can't tell me I can't play at Alabama, because I know what I saw. They compete and they work hard. That's what Alabama is about and that's what I'm about." this was my favorite part of the interview. -Bryan Cowart (Free 247)

My new favorite DL.

Also that Trent Thompson could take his decision all the way until signing day which could only help UA chances.

Tim Watts didn't say, but he did say that he is not as far along as they hoped this close to graduation.

Depending on what he needs (ACT, GPA, etc) to pick up will determine what he does.

That would be pretty surprising, honestly

Right now his coach is doing all he can to extend his recruitment. Coach is a huge AU guy and is taking Trent on visits to everywhere but UGA in a rumored attempt to break the UGA stranglehold. Trent's mom works a lot apparently and can't take him on really any visits, so UGA hasn't been able to get him on campus since last June.

Does the coach have anything against UGA or does he just want him to whats out there?

He just wants him at Auburn and is using visits to other schools to try to get Trent to change his mindset.

This is from a very reliable UGA insider, but TIFWIW. It's pretty fricked up if true, imo. The facts sort of bear it out. His coach has taken him to visit Auburn 4 times, FSU 3 times, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee since his last UGA visit.

im not super familiar with the rules, but i always wonder why in kids go juco in these situations instead of a prep school that doesn't start their college eligibility?
