So in an expounding by Adonis Thomas' HC, they were tipped off as far back as the WCU game that Smart might move to LBs for 2015.

Early talk was Ansley due to his ties to Bama. TideSports had him trending high on their hot board.
Aaron Suttles made it sound like a hire won't be made until after NSD for consistency's sake. So whomever they hire won't rip a hole in someone's recruiting class and the small chance of driving a commit away for Bama.
Josh McMillan did say something that I hope was just a wrong choice of words, but he said Bama was looking to hire a "safeties coach" with Smart dropping to LBs. Unless Saban will dedicate his time to the CBs, I can't see them dividing the position up(even with a young guy like Ansley).

Charles Power is no longer working for BOL. Tim Watts said he took a non-recruiting related full-time job.

Charles was a very good reporter and recruiting analyst for Alabama. He and I had some nice conversations regarding QBs over the last 2 seasons.

It's almost like because he went to Bama they WONT respect him since he's a Saint
He'll be gone to another team next season that utilizes him a lot more consistently and be an animal and NoLa will lack a running game again
Pats, Bears (with Fox as HC), Seahawks (once Lynch announces retirement), hell even a team (Jets, Bills) trying to establish a new running game
Reggie Bush has also done significantly better and had some success after leaving NoLa
