Now that would suck worse than Steele.

Hope they just give him a title promotion and some more cash.

ya know, our defense has started veering toward the defense steele had at klempsum. we all know lance aint the worlds best on field coach, great recruiter that seems to get antsy every couple years. so if both of these guys leave, maybe we can get some folks that coach a bit better and still recruit at an acceptable level. now we all know also i'm just rattling on here, typing out loud. but still could this happen?

BOL has learned that outside linebackers' coach Lance Thompson will accept a job offer from Auburn coach Gus Malzahn as part of new Tigers' defensive coordinator Will Muschamp's defensive staff.

Ronnie Harrison, Dallas Warmack, Richie Petitbon.

Safe to say those three aren't going anywhere

Thompson is currently the nation's fifth-ranked recruiter per 247Sports and was instrumental in securing commitments from current Tide pledges/signees Ronnie Harrison, Dallas Warmack and Richie Petitbon. Thompson was widely considered the national recruiter of the year when Alabama claimed the top-ranked recruiting class in the country in 2008 behind the strength of landing stars Julio Jones, B.J. Scott and Mark Barron from Mobile.

Also Desherrius Flowers and Montrell Custis. LINK Here is his profile for 247. He's helped land some great ones, even if his coaching isn't necessarily great.

Rico is the only real possibility. Dark horse of Adonis, but word is that Smart was more of his lead recruiter than Steele.

Keaton Anderson says it doesn't affect his recruitment. I know y'all were waiting on pins and needles for his response.

if he is as good as sunseri ill be pleased. There is aneed for that kind of safety/lb hybrid against the fastball teams. We sorely missed sunseri this year, was one of the departures that had a big effect

Ridley will not make it in.

Still seems good to go for summer enrollment.

Nice. I would the to lose the 584th ranked linebacker in the country who also happens to be a Jared Leto look a like.
