We offered 4-star JUCO DT DJ Jones. He plays for East Mississippi Community College. He was teammates with DJ Pettway and Jarran Reed last year as EMCC won the JUCO National Championship (over Jovon Robinson's team, Georgia Military College).

Yes he is. The new beat writer will be Marc Torrence, according to BOL

3 guys were/are rated 2*'s on scout.

Claims an offer since December, several analyst doubt it. Very atypical for a JuCo player to have a Bama offer that early.

Never liked Walsh much he seemed like the only BOL guy that met that it was "just a job" where Goodbread, Lucky, Reier, Watts, all at times ate slept and bled football/recruiting.

So, I'll open the debate.


Tyren Jones vs Altee Tenpenny, who will be higher in the pecking order this season?

I don't think either will see many (if any) significant carries, but in garbage time they should both get some.


I still like to maintain Jones is the better player. Tenpenny didn't do much on minimal carries last year, though I guess it is more than Tyren has done. I still just think Jones has more talent. If he's had a year with CSC he'll do some damage. Man A-Day is gonna be fun.

Well there's an argument for it, but the idea going around was always that Tyren had more ability, Altee was farther along physically. Both are talented, can't go wrong with either.
