Interdasting clause from Muschamp's Florida contract:

quote:

“Regardless of the basis of termination of this Agreement or of the party who exercises any right of termination, for a period of one (1) year after the effective date of the termination, the Coach shall not contact or otherwise seek to recruit any high school, college or other student athlete previously contacted or recruited by the Association and/or the University, unless prior to the date when the notice of termination is given by the Association or the Coach, the Coach has not violated subsection 9C and such athlete has already been contacted or recruited by any institution organization or entity thereafter employing or contracting for services of the Coach and on whose behalf the Coach is acting in making the contact.”

Perhaps he won't be as involved in this year's Auburn class as they think.

Who gives a frick what he did in HS?

Did you really just ask that in a recruiting thread where we spend half the time evaluating and discussing what players did in high school?

Here are his highlights against AHS: LINK

I count 3 rushing TDs including a 45 yarder. Is he Michael Vick? No. Can he run the zone read that's a big part of Malzahn's offense? Yes

quote:

He rushed for a grand total of -7 yards this past season. Plus they have a different offense in place when he's in the game. Go watch when he played this year

Of course the offense is going to be different. Every time he's changed QBs, he's altered his offense. He broke offensive records at Auburn with Chris Todd at QB. All I'm saying is that what really makes the run game and that offense go is the OL. That's the key not QB.

SIAP:

Alabama commit Anfernee Jennings is the other big mover in the rankings. Previously a four-star outside of the Top247, Jennings is now ranked as the No. 4 player in the state with a 94 rating and a ranking just outside the national Top100.

Bama bump.

To me that reads like boom cant contact any florida recruiting targets for a new employer, unless that employer was already recruiting that player. Id imagine that auburn has at least contacted any player he would want to try and poach. Of course if I were boom and had 6 million at stake id tell gus to frick himself if he asked me to contact a florida recruit

Friends told Amari Cooper:Avoid run-happy Alabama, but he 'wanted to be a winner'

According to Tim Watts it appears Lorenzo Phillips will not have a spot in this class now that Adonis Thomas is on board.

Phillips didn't make the trip to Tuscaloosa as planned.

They are trying to make the Muschamp hire as big as our Kiffin hire last year

Anyone want to talk about Alabama recruiting? I do.

Cece Jefferson came to town with his family. Big news. He also seems to be very comfortable in Ttown. All this per Tim Watts.

Payne got kicked out of the all star game for some unnecessary roughness. Thoughts?

Those are good stats considering it looks like he got 5 or less touches in a few games

He averaged 7 yards per carry for the season.

Crimson glasses make some of the Bama posters look like idiots.

Observations from some dude on BOL on the AL-Miss game:

quote:

to this point....
- Christian Bell hasn't been a factor or flashed any difference making skills (in fairness Mississippi has went the opposite way for the most part) .
- Kerryon Johnson is a solid 4* prospect.
- Vaughn & Flowers look to be an aggressive RB combo but haven't been used enough to make a difference.
- Bama CB's are god awful frail
- Alabama staff seems to be unaware of how to utilize the size of the OL.
- Keith Mixon is a dwarf but the kid is a playmaker with spunk.
- Keaton Anderson flashing Vinny Sunseri traits.

He's being far too generous with this assessment.
