I agree but there are a couple comparable clips of him snagging balls with 1 hand in warm-ups with the ATL

Beaverton, Ore. - Alabama commitment Calvin Ridley had the catch of the day during The Opening's 1st Day.

Calvin Ridley is an athlete out of Florida who is committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. He is listed as a cornerback commitment by Scout at the moment... that's going to change.

This is the second consecutive event that Ridley has been among, if not outright the best wide receiver on the field. First at the IMG 7v7 National Championship, and now among an even more impressive group at Nike's The Opening in Beaverton, Ore.

Ridley had the catch of the day during Tuesday's Nike Camp on a ball thrown by Oregon commitment Travis Waller.

Ridley glided by his defender, a common sight when he's on the field, and Waller lofted a nice pass up the left sideline. Ridley slowed just a touch, then reached back with his inside and and caught it much like an outfielder backhands a flyball headed over his head.

He made his one handed effort look effortless and drew oohs and ahhs from the crowd.

Here's a look at Ridley's catch that he makes look amazingly simple.

During his recruitment, Saban told Bama OL commit Richie Petitbon he reminded him of a young Barrett Jones. That's major praise.

Alabama commitment Calvin Ridley

Ranked 40th in the composite and 89th overall by 247Sports. Seems like every event he is at he dominates, including the IMG 7v7 and The Opening, as mentioned in the article. How high do y'all think he'll climb to once the services update their rankings after The Opening? I think he'll be challenging five-star status in the composite (around top 30), but he may get ranked even higher.

I don't see any way that he isn't a consensus five star. I know that he doesn't have the greatest 40 time, but you can't deny those skills.

Nike employee on sidelines asks who made great catch. Let him know it's Calvin Ridley going to #Bama. His reply: "Man, rich getting richer."

It's almost unfair at this point. Ridley and Foster on the field at the same time?
