I might've believed that this time last year, but Jonathan Allen (similar skill, size, and frame as Hand) reported at 265 last year and has been at DE since day 1. Hand will be a DE which I'm fine with since we have Evans for OLB. I just hope we don't try to jack him up to 250

You're smarter than that to believe something so foolish. A 290 pound jack??
Yeah, I believe he will be a DE too. I just don't want him trading more and more size for quickness/agility like we've seen others do in the past years.
I think his size right now is where he should make his limit. He doesn't need to get any bigger. Especially considering that is exactly what Saban has been speaking against.

Henry has lost weight. Rueben Foster has lost weight. There are other examples as well.
Different people grow at different stages. It isn't some automatic science that an 18 year old blows up and gains 40 pounds. If you believe that, I suggest you log-off and read a book or something.

The more you post the more I feel you just don't understand the subject.
I never said he should lose weight by the way, I said his weight ceiling should be 270-280. I'm specifically saying I don't want him to balloon to 290-300+.
