Kind of weird that our correspondence with recruits is using our classic logo (which I love). I don't think we've used it anywhere else in about a decade, have we?

Good point.

That is my all time favorite Bama logo, and it isnt really close.

He grew up in Kentucky actually. He's not your typical "Texas" recruit.
well maybe we will let coker or cornwell or whoever wins the job run some this year. Sims, Cornwell, Coker can all run, and if i recall morris did some running in HS

Cool. Wonder if it's an indication of intent to use a FB or maybe we like him as H-back or maybe LB

frick yes. I have been wanting a fullback in our offense since 2009. Ask Sandkhan. I bitched all about it the first time we met.

TTs just posted this about Bessent:

quote:

I'm OK with whatever happens to him. Sure, I would love to see him be at Auburn if the situation presents himself (if we find out he didn't do anything too bad). He's an adult and should be smarter than to put himself in a situation like that. Not only is it bad that he will possibly never play at Auburn, but he also has 2 children that he will have to support.

There was over 200 grams of marijuana in the car with him. Damn I glad he flipped.

Cox is from the same school as 5-star OT Martez Ivey! Perhaps this was a calculated offer.

Yes

quote:

With many eyes on St. Petersburg, Fla., thanks to a national TV audience, two local standouts participated in the seventh annual Under Armour All-America Game.

Both Auburn High’s Rashaan Evans and Opelika’s Stephen Roberts played for Team Highlight — which beat Team Nitro, 31-21— at the All-Star game, which showcased 90 of the best high school football players from across the nation.

Evans, an All-State first-team selection and the Opelika-Auburn News Defensive Player of the Year, garnered a lot of attention during the week leading up to Thursday’s game, impressing those on hand during practice sessions and drills. He won an obstacle course skills challenge during the week, and some on hand described him as the best player in attendance.

Despite making noise all week, Evans was relatively quiet during the game itself, registering just two tackles, including one for a loss.

Early in the second quarter he stopped Oregon quarterback commit Morgan Mahalak after a 4-yard scramble. Then late in the third quarter, Evans brought down Arkansas quarterback commit Rafe Peavey for a 4-yard loss.

200 grams

Isn't that less than a coke cans worth of volume?
That doesn't really sound like a whole bunch, but I wouldn't know how far that amount goes.

For comparison, a can of coke is 355mL.

edit:
1 ml = 1 mg.
