If he is anything decent, I think he goes. To be honest, with our offense and our personnel he doesn't even have to be a world beater to look great.

Can't believe Ricky Town actually believed Coker would have inhibited his play time. Before Town ever puts on a USC jersey, Coker would have already been NFL bound.

Contrary to what he has said publicly, I doubt that had anything to do with his flip

Agreed it didn't...it was a vocalized concern that obviously had been planted as a seed in his head but it had much more to do with Nuss' departure IMO

He sold the kid on being his coach etc and he was a West Coast guy who had the right connections. I still think we don't know for sure that Town wouldn't have flipped anyway because once U$Cw hired Sark it was his goal to get the kid I'm sure

Former Alabama wide receiver Kevin Norwood is already turning heads during the Seattle Seahawks rookie minicamp this week. Coach Pete Carroll had praise for Norwood and 2nd round draft pick Paul Richardson.
"The receivers really show up," Carroll told reporters on Friday. "They jump out at us. Kevin and Paul have done really well the first couple days and they did it again today."
With Richardson out, Norwood saw more action on Saturday.
“They’re just lining me up and putting me in my comfort zone and just allowing me to go out there and make plays,” stated Norwood. “Hopefully whenever the season comes, they just put me in that same spot to make more plays.”

Julio, Norwood, and Cooper in the NFL the next few seasons will definitely pay dividends.

According to 247Sports National Recruiting Director Steve Wiltfong, who is reporting live from the Bay Area Nike Football Training Camp, two potential "game changing" offers in the recruitment of elite four-star quarterback Travis Waller (Anaheim, Calif./Servite) would be Ohio State (Wiltfong says the Buckeyes could offer soon) and Oregon. The 6-foot-4 dual-threat said that among his current offers, his two favorites were Alabama and Northwestern. Recruiting experts from across the country agree with the Ducks being a huge factor if they through their hat in the ring. The Ducks have 92 percent of the predictive expert vote on 247Sports Crystal Ball

Alabama is among the new offers for Waynesboro (Miss.) Wayne Co. 2016 DL Benito Jones. The 6-foot-2, 260-pounder tells Bulldawgs247's Paul Jones that the Tide stand out.

"I like Alabama and I have been a fan of Alabama since I was little," said Jones. "Mississippi State and Ole Miss are good schools, too, and I like those schools. But I may end up leaving the state."

Jones also holds offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Southern Miss. His Crystal Ball currently points to the Tide, with Alabama accounting four of the five picks.

Arizona picked up a commitment from 247Sports No. 2 Pro-Style Quarterback in the country for 2016 in Shea Patterson 17 months ago. Patterson will hit the camp circuit this summer with plans to go to Texas, Auburn, Ole Miss, Alabama and LSU, along with an extended stay out in Tucson. Several schools are making a push for Patterson and he hopes to have a final 10 this summer.

Some 1st class Grade A wishful thinking on tRant today

He wasn't able to win the starting QB job from the crab and beaver burglar who ended up winning the Heisman Trophy. I don't think he would be able to beat out Brandon Harris who may win a Heisman Trophy if LF doesn't win three in a row.

Don't y'all have a bagman in Gadsden that can pull some strings to get Carr to Auburn? I'll pitch in some funds if need be.

Do. Not. Want.

It was quite the weekend for Anaheim (Calif.) Servite Top50 quarterback Travis Waller.

On Friday, the nation’s No. 3 dual-threat quarterback according to 247Sports earned an invite to the National Elite 11 Competition ran in conjunction with The Opening, held at the Nike World Headquarters July 5-10.

Two days later, Waller was back at Chabot College for the Nike Football Training Camp, and he again shined as one of the top signal-callers competing.

In between on Saturday, Alabama offered.

“It is a big powerhouse, to have a team like that offer you is really big,” Waller said. “I never thought I would have that one so I’m definitely considering them.”

So much so, they’ve moved to the top of the list regarding the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Waller’s offers.

“I’d put Alabama up there, Northwestern as well because I’m a big academic guy,” he said, adding that Tennessee and Ole Miss are two that are in and out of the picture.

TIFWIW but a guy in the Auburn Recruiting thread said there are rumors going around that QB Deondre Francois will commit to Oregon during The Opening. If true then our chances at Waller should shoot up dramatically.

Agreed chatta & I was on board for Carr a month ago and I always like Bama to take in-state guys

The things that aggravate the shite outta me with Carr is his lack of aggressiveness and really slow quicksand feet despite his huge athletic frame, not hardly able to sweep or help out on blocks just very raw
