@AndrewJBone: Jack West, 2018 QB from Saraland HS in Ala., has received offer No.1 from #Tulane. Remember this name well. Trust me

The future at QB for Alabama reports in July:

The former Chelsea (Ala.) High dual threat quarterback standout, now 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, has accepted a preferred walk-on opportunity with Nick Saban's program.
Hagin and his parents traveled to Tuscaloosa earlier in the week to meet with the staff, mainly assistant Tyler Siskey, to go over the basic principles of how the process works.
The senior is expected to study engineering once at Alabama, one of the many reasons he picked the Crimson Tide over other schools offering a similar role like UCF and Washington. Ohio State showed some interest, too. UA is the only school he applied to during the process.
Hagin and his family are longtime Crimson Tide fans, and the move is one that his father is still yet to gauge.
"It's truly unbelievable," he said. "It's a good move for Trent and the whole family."
Most of the class of 2014 signees will report to Tuscaloosa to begin their college career on and off the field in July, and Hagin is expected to be among that group.
"I've always loved 'Bama," Hagin said.

Per Orlando (Fla.) Timber Creek four-star running back Jacques Patrick, Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin paid him a visit on Wednesday.
Alabama is among the 50-plus offers for Patrick. He plans to narrow his list at The Opening this summer and announce his decision in October.
Patrick is ranked as the No. 46 prospect in the nation by the 247Sports Composite. He is considered the No. 2 overall running back.
His Crystal Ball currently sits at 96% for Florida State.

Who's the one single person that you want for this class?
For me: Leo Lewis
It just doesn't feel right unless we land the number 1 LB every year

I love Lewis and Christian Bell, but for me it is Daron Payne

I am a name guy so I will go with Payne.
Eli Gold "Alabama shoots through the line! Roc Thomas is stuffed on fourth and goal! A bone crunching hit on the Roc. He had no chance. I can't believe it! Who was that?"
Phil "Payne!"
Eli Gold "Daron Payne! Daron Payne brings THE PAIN!!!"

With each passing day the stock of Texas commitment Charles Omenihu is going up in the eyes of college coaches across the country.
On Tuesday, Omenihu (6-5, 220) picked up offer number nine for the Florida Gators and on Wednesday reports surfaced that the defensive end was beginning to hear more from Alabama. Alabama, a team that had been in contact with Omenihu before his commitment to Texas, was considered a threat to keep the defensive prospect from commitment if they had picked up his recruitment initially.
I spoke with Omenihu about his current situation and where things stand with his commitment to Texas and at this time there's nothing transpiring that should concern Longhorn fans. However, if Alabama ultimately extends an offer, don’t be surprised if he decides to entertain the offer and at least visit Tuscaloosa.
Omenihu is a three-star prospect and considered the No. 58-ranked prospect in Texas for 2015 according to 247Sports.

He has all the necessary skillset to be a very good Sam for us and provide a great pass rush. We already have Tim Williams for the next couple years and Bell will be his replacement IMO
...and he's an in-state kid too that means a great deal to me as well
ETA: At work right now Alabamya, give me till later on tonight and I'll give you a more in-depth analysis of Bell.

Justin Johnson from Hoover has good size at 6'4" 205lbs, haven't watched him play much so I can't really say why he's rated so lowly, but could be interesting to watch as an in state riser this season.

I didn't mean for us to land him, I just meant an in state guy whose ranking rises a decent amount.
Not sure we take any other WRs in this class sans Durante flipping or an elite talent wanting to get on board.
