Charles Power also said that the TE position has so many targets that it was hard to choose one out of Gragg, Hentges and Clarington. He believes Alabama has a good shot with all three of them.

A few on that list are pipe dreams. I don't think we get Ivey, Cowart or Thompson.

After a two-year hiatus, AL.com is reviving its Super Southeast list of the region's top college football prospects. The list will feature the top 50 prospects in the Southeast, which includes all states in the SEC footprint except Texas and Missouri.
We are inviting input from you as we determine which players will be on the list. In the coming weeks, we'll be posting lists of five to 10 top Southeastern prospects at each position, with video highlight clips if available, and asking you which you believe is the best of the group and, if you prefer, to include a ranking of all of them, in order,in the comments below. We'll take your input into consideration as we finalize the list later this summer.
This week's installment is the safeties. Here are 10 safeties considered among the best in the Southeast. As Texas is not included in our rankings, Alabama commitment Deionte Thompson is not listed. Vote for the one you think is the best in the accompanying poll, or rank them all in the comments below.

And that mentality is why Alabama lost the 2009 and 2014 Sugar Bowl.
Cant win them all. Rather be hungry for championships than satisfied with a Sooners/Utahs superbowl. But I to would have liked to see more effort in those sugar bowls. We just have a championship or bust attitude and its ok with me.

Definitely.

Me too, as long as they realize that they still are settling for something less than being the best.

Indeed. It breeds champions.

That's still not a great team though. Of course they should be hungry for a championship, but a great team should be hungry for whatever's left on the table.

I'm down for retconning it from existence.
Anyone else? Didn't happen. I'm serious. Don't mention it, if someone brings it up on tRant, it didn't happen.

There's some solid gold Winston jokes on the MSB.

I could get over some things, but being a rapist and being stupid enough to think you're gonna get away with shop lifting Publix doesn't cut it.

This is what I was getting at. Because this run is going to be over one day and the "title or busy mentality" will be more harm than good. It's about competing to be the best in every contest.

We had 2 All Americans out for the Utah game and we were a run first team. ( Amdre Smith AA 2008 and Mike Johnson who plays with the Falcons AA 2009.
We had 600 yards vs OU, we lost because of 4 or 5 turnovers. That will usually beat you.
I don't think CNS overlooked anyone, that makes for a good excuse, but Utah and OU were both very good teams and good teams can beat you when you aren't at full strength or when you have turnovers.
NOW who we gonna get at qb this year ?

I'm not even really talking about player performances. Just the general outlook of the fanbase going into each game was awful. I was at the Utah debacle and everyone was so lethargic. Mind you, it was Alabama's biggest bowl game in 9 years at that point.
