Between this case and Miles case, it’s clear the judge has some issues with UA. This case was decided the moment the previous judge recused himself and it was handed to Judge Pruett. As I said above, it’s a shame he couldn’t be primaried.

Alabama released an official statement. Reads well and completely supports Chuck. Good for them.

Bediako should not be playing. I don't have a problem with that.
But neither should these other guys who were deemed ineligible and have had courts overturn the NCAA. The whole system is fricked.
Truly the only way this is going to get resolved is for congress to step in and grant anti-trust exemption to the NCAA or to set specific laws in place, and I have pretty much no faith in any of that happening, and I'm also not entirely convinced that is their purpose.
So here we are.

I can’t take watching Noah play. I just can’t. It infuriates me.

I genuinely do not understand how the POTY from any D1 conference can be completely unplayable against a step up in competition. It's not that he is just kind of a warm body out there or anything. He's a net negative and is no better than a walk on.

When he shoots a 3 I walk away from the TV. I just can’t do it.

I really don't care if he doesn't make another one all season if he just gives us 10-15 decent minutes of rebounding and defense. The fact that he probably can't even do that is what kills me. Like I said, it's not as if this dude was on a bad team's bench and we took him on as a warm body and 5 fouls because he grew up in Birmingham and would come in for rev share and nothing more. He was playing serious, high quality minutes for a D1 program last year. It makes absolutely no sense how he's as horrible as he is.

Its actually the shooting slump that's so frustrating about Williamson.
I imagine the staff knew he wasn't going to be an athletic presence but he had been a very solid shooter and passer (which he still actually does fairly well in his decent games).
He was supposed to at least keep defense honest and hit 3s at an equal clip to Sherrell but his shooting has just been awful.

Connected poster on another site says our folks spoke with Sankey before we played Bediako and he was not against it.

We appeal and hope for a quick ruling.

My understanding is that the current case is not under a final order. He was just denied a preliminary injunction. I don’t think we can appeal until the case is fully closed (even if the end result is a formality)

It is not a final order but it is an appealable interlocutory order under AL code and rule of appellate procedure 4(a)(1).

I suspect that his representation had expected this - or should have - and have a formulation on appealing the TRO decision by the judge.

I have an appeal to the judge’s decision. I move to dismiss his decision on the grounds that he’s a bald headed sawed off incel

I have no reason to believe this is true other than the fact that Greg Sankey is 100% the kind of duplicitous motherfricker who would be in favor of something privately and against it publicly. He's just a politician who lacks the charm needed for elected office.

If that’s remotely true and we still haven’t had a public response then I’m disgusted.
Even if it’s not true the fact that we have not publicly responded is the softest thing our administration has done since at least the 90s.
