SMU would be out should they lose to Clemson
SMU would have zero top 25 wins, right (based on the latest rankings)?

Pretty much saying that 'Bama is a lock no matter what happens next weekend.

Yeah the chairmen just said they looked at ranked wins and wins against teams at over 500. We hold a 3-1 on ranked and 6-1 on .500 teams. That was the decider now do that for SMU.

Someone check FD and DK odds for us to make it in the field now. It was -190 last night.

SMU is 0-1 versus ranked & 6-1 versus .500 or better

Are we at all worried about the Big 12 CG???

We hold the cards. He straight up gave us the formula they used to drop Miami from 6 to 12. What makes you think they won’t drop 8 to whatever? They would have 2 ranked losses and 6 .500 wins.

They are fighting for spot 12.

They said there would be no shuffling amongst those that don't play. That is different.

I think with the way Miami dropped, Clemsons current rank, SMU’s current rank, SMU would be out should they lose to Clemson.
I would hope so…but I recall in 2022, after TCU lost the Big 12 conference game to KSU (whom we throttled in our bowl game), the committee kept them at #3…and then after UGA embarrassed them in the CFPCG 65-7, both the coaches poll and the AP poll kept them at #2 when everyone knew they weren’t the #2 team in the country. So if Clemson wins, I’ll be sweating it…

Well at the moment I have a hotel in Columbus and Fort Wayne, and plenty of friends in State College
Looking forward to actually playing a game near me for once

Hour 40 from South Bend and pretty much on the way from Pittsburgh (if you go slightly out of the way). Trying to make both drives manageable enough.
I don't think there's any way we end up in Bloomington or Columbus based on the current rankings. Pretty much State College, Eugene (which I will not be driving to) or South Bend
