#Ravens DC Don “Wink” Martindale is emerging as a top candidate as the coaching carousel spins, and his top choice of OC is a fascinating one. Sources say Martindale would be paired with #LSU wunderkind Joe Brady who set the field ablaze against Oklahoma.

RTNL, I think when teams go to bowl games, the teams have to let all their coaches be available for interviews.

Yep, you are right. I realized this after I had posted. So, Golding's interview has no bearing whatsoever on whether he is staying or going.

This week should be interesting after Black Monday yesterday and swirling rumors of possibly the entire Cowboys staff being let go, there will be some interesting options out there for both onfield coaches and off field assistants/analysts

Orgeron said today they feel like they have a new deal to keep Brady just about wrapped up.

Yeah, unless a NFL OC position comes along. He is really hot right now, and he could lose some clout if they have a bad year. Got to think that he bolts with the right team and offer.

Mark Helfrich fired as OC of Chicago Bears.

I expect him to either take a high level College OC job or a lower tier HC gig.

Dude needs to rebound after getting fired twice.

You mean in an offensive assistant off-the-field kind of role? I'm completely down with that. It's great to have guys like that on staff who could possibly step into an on-field position if need be in the future.

Damn. I was trying to think "what would be the most Kiffin hire?" there and thought I had some promising candidates, but it turns out you really can't out-Kiffin the man himself.

1. Cleveland Browns: Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll will interview with the Browns on Sunday, Mary Kay Cabot tweets.

2. Atlanta Falcons: Ian Rapoport tweets that defensive passing game coordinator Jerome Henderson and assistant defensive line coach Travis Jones will not return to the staff.

3. Where is Bo Davis?!?!?

Jason Garrett was fired by the Cowboys. This could get interesting.

Sources: Mississippi State is exploring firing coach Joe Moorhead. No formal decision has been made. School officials have been discussing Moorhead's future since a spate of off-field issues, including the fight that led to QB Garrett Schraeder missing the Music City Bowl.

This is.a tweet from Pete Thamel just now

Watch who Saban "runs into" at the Senior Bowl in a few weeks.

Some don't expect Bo back with the Lions, they've been seriously cleaning house. He hasn't done well with better than average DL talent...

Saw the story. Didn’t know that Garrett was not able to play because of the injury that occurred during a fight with a teammate. And got to think that Gay should’ve been kicked off the team at that point. Academic fraud, in-game fighting, and now taking out the starting QB. Surprised that an OL didn’t happen to take a cheap shot later, but they are probably better team players.
