Buddy, If you can't see that the defense had ample opportunities to get off the field in critical situations in the second half of the game then I don't know what else there is to say.

You can't just answer the question.

If BAMA had gotten that DPI and won that game everyone would be talking about how great the defense played. If you can't admit that, or worse see it, then buddy, I dont know what else there is to say.

Why do you keep ignoring the amount of points the defense allowed?

Georgia was 7/13 on 3rd down and scored 10 in the 1st/10 in the 2nd.

On what planet are you not taking that performance?

Don’t inexplicably reverse Reese’s INT and idk how you’re arguing the defense wasn’t good.

The defense was objectively good. Need to sure up some things like any team.

Uga could have had realistically had 5 turnovers in that game. Ball bounced funny. 5 turnovers and BAMA would've beaten uga like the dogs they are.

There’s no question Bsma’s def kept them from scoring their average of course, Uga wasn’t going to do that. But they killed Bama on long drives in the 2nd half. Just couldn’t get them off the field on 3rd downs.

We all seen with our eyes What happened in that game even when a ESPN former official telling us believe me and not what you see.

I don’t feel to bad about it because we all know in the back of our minds that these things are likely going to happen now until Sankey is removed.

They only lost by 3pts with Uga hitting on all cylinders, Bama offense was sputtering off and on, Defense played well to a degree but struggled also on 3rd downs, and the officiating on four key plays in the game basically said frick you what are you going to do about it. So to lose by 3 with all that I don’t feel to bad about it.

We allowed 10 points in the first half, and 10 in the second, against a team that is averaging like 50 points a game. They weren't bad.

They held Georgia to 20 which should have been enough to win but Stockton was nearly perfect on converting 3 and long which was the real issue.

He doesn’t like that Georgia had 200 yards rushing and there’s no way to change his mind.

Losing T Green and having to (finally) sub out #1 and #0 led to 3 explosives (out of 5 total) on the ground.

Again, not having Hill or Zulu to give #0 and #1 a break and also be able to generate a pash rush with just 4 (Georgia was able to) would clearly hurt any defense.

Georgia had 49 yards rushing in the 1st half, and they ran the same 2 gap schemes and mid-zone in the 2nd half.
Difference was not having T Green and/or #0/#1 on the field.

Either way, QB Reese still intercepted that ball, and all 10 points Georgia scored in the 2nd half came off of #5 doing ridiculous things on a 3rd and 17 and a 3rd and 22

So what in UK/ MSU/ USCjr game did you complain about?

The 13 combined sacks in those 3 games?

4th in nation against the run going into the UGA game?

9 turnovers including 3 defensive TDs in those games?

You said you have “talked shite about the defense all season”, so tell me exactly what you didn’t like in SEC play heading into the Georgia game?

Edit: surely a guy with your intelligence can see the effect that Green/Zulu/Hill has on the pass rush along with keeping #0 and #1 fresh, and Green stout against the run. #5 making bone-headed plays on 3rd and a mile (TWICE) shouldn’t cloud your objectivity.
The Reese INT was enough for Bama to have won the game also.

Georgia was 7/13 on 3rd down (including the two 3rd and forevers that #5 allowed).

That also includes the two balls that were deflected and still caught.

Bama was 6/13 on 3rd down.

If the RW targeting and the PI had been called then that’s 2 more they wouldn’t have been “stopped” on.

Bama held UGA to 49 rushing yards in the 1st half and Georgia gave up 126 on the ground in the 1st half.

Major part of CKW’s defense is forcing turnovers:
Defense had one INT (really it was 2), and Georgia put the ball on the ground 4 times without losing 1 of them.

Downvote it all you want, but I guarantee you were surprised that Georgia was 7/13 on 3rd down and Bama was 6/13

When Georgia can run on their “Cheetah” package of 4 pass rushers on 3rd down and Bama no longer can bc 3 of them are injured, that actually does affect the game believe it or not.

Why not start this post sooner?

They were almost 1/2 way through SEC play heading into UGA.

Since they’ve been “shite” against the run, forcing turnovers, and pressuring the QB in the 3 previous SEC games, then why wait this long to start this thread?
