If we would've got 2, it would've made them need a TD. But they didn't think about what if we didn't get and what if LSU scores a TD anyway.

It was a bad call. But if we kick, LSU would have gone for two on their last TD. If they make it, we’re in the same situation.

You don't go for 2 unless you're down 2 and it's the 4th qtr. Period.
No reason to chase points until you have to. And there's really no reason to give points away when you're ahead.
