WE DON'T NEED A TEAM FULL OF 5 STARS TO LOOK COMPETITIVE.
Stop making excuses for the staff. Almost all these players were highly rated and recruited...not talty. This team is grossly inconsistent from week to week. It's so frustrating to watch, but I do because roll damn tide. However, they make me wanna kick my TV. We don't know what team is going to show up and that is on coaching.
It's actually quite amazing what this team has accomplished given how sloppy they look at times. Maybe that is the biggest takeaway from thesec last two seasons... Sloppy but winning.

I’m going to repeat this once again. Alabama is not Georgia. Alabama is not 2009-2015 Alabama.
Alabama, under Deboer, is a QB-CENTRIC offense. It’s almost unstoppable with a great QB; however, a glaring weakness is it can be terrible with average QB play or your QB has a bad game or is injured.

Why in the hell does he not put Keelon in? Something is wrong with Ty. I wonder if he is on any antipsychotic/anxiety meds to deal with the stress and pressure. Early in the year he was making quick decisions. Now he seems very hesitant and confused. He makes some weird faial gesutures sometimes while he is talking. There has to be some logical answer but I don't think things are going to get any better for Bama football until DeBoer has the balls to make a change.

He isn’t injured.
Ok, he is injured, but…..
I think it’s a little mental for some of our fans as well. Jeeez.

I agree with this 100%. I've got back issues and now arthritis in my back and neck. Any sudden jolts can be excruciatingly painful. I don't know if Ty is badly injured or not. I suspect he is hurt much worse than anyone is letting on. With that said, assuming he has a back injury (and I think he is) I can assure you it's in the back of Ty's head that at any minute he's going to get leveled and be in excruciating pain. Seems pretty plausible to me that you'd be pretty jittery out there every time you drop back to pass.
Assuming that's the case, either Ty needs to be unselfish and honest to admit that he's hurt and it's really affecting his ability to lead the team, OR CKD needs to make the tough decision to sit Ty and get either Mack or Keelon ready to go in two weeks.
With that said, Ty also probably needs to work with a sports psychologist. I think his confidence is shot. Some of his problems are of his own making (holding on to the ball too long, getting greedy and wanting to throw it 20 yards downfield into tight coverage and missing a wide open TE or RB for 5-10 yards and realizing sometimes no one is open and you gotta either throw it away or take off running.

I would add that with terrible to mediocre line play, it makes it nearly impossible for any QB to function. People are kidding themselves if they think Mack or Russell would fair all that much better.

The line play was good in the OU game. Ty should had checkdown routes that he missed. He had plenty of time to throw in that game and it's all on him.
The AU game was nightmarish, and the OL did not play well.
The first half of the Georgia game, the line was ok in pass blocking, but Ty made poor decisions and held the ball too long. After Georgia got a 14-point lead and realized Alabama could absolutely not run the ball, they pinned their ears back.

Here's the problem, when the line does play well, the QB is still making bad reads. Here are just two examples from Saturday:
There's a lot of blame to go around for the failures on Sat, but these are two terrible reads/decisions on crucial downs that are squarely on Ty.

I’m not sure how you missed my point. I’m saying we signed all these amazing o line players. The players are there. Even just decent coaching would get more of out of them.

OU will have their best defensive player this time, on the road with the noise.
It is going to be like Auburn but tougher.
Hope defense catches those ints that Mateer loves throwing.

If deboer could have kept Julian sayin we might be calling him the next Saban who knows
Sayin didn’t really light things up against Indiana’s defense. Imagine if we had put up 10 points against them. People would be blowing their stacks.
