That's a great system they have going on at LSU right now but I've watched enough QB play to know pinpoint accuracy and arm talent. I think Burrow is good and will be a serviceable NFL QB but that offense does a great job getting guys open. While everyone is hollering Tom Brady Urban Meyer compares Burrow to Alex Smith. I think that's a better comparison

And, Alex Smith was a great college QB who was very athletic.

LSU is successful right now because they play within Burrow's skill set. That's good coaching. But, I don't see the all world passer that the media and stats would have me to believe I'm seeing.

If Joe Brady stays at LSU, y'all will see how much he had to do with Burrow's success.
They won't drop off like everyone here thinks unless they have big issues on the OL.
I'd love to see him hired away.

My thing is I'm waiting to see the defensive answer to Joe Brady and we'll start to see it next season. I've seen a lot of revolutionary offenses come and go. Defenses change too.

Saying never is kind of stupid but I don’t entirely disagree. Burrow’s numbers are absolutely out of this world good. If he was truly the greatest thing CFB has ever seen before, he would’ve been better (not as good as this season but still good) last season. When you combine a really good QB with an even better OC, you get that offense that they have.

Defense will always have adjustments to defend against new style spread offenses

Feel like Clemson will slow down the LSU run game some but LSU will abuse their LBs and DBs in coverage. Especially in bunch formations . OSU would have matched up better defensively IMO

JMO but the LSU offense looks a lot like Bama's (when #13 was healthy). Joe is excellent at throwing a nice soft pass into one of one coverage and keeping the ball high so his receivers can high point those throws. The guy is as accurate as #13 and that is dayum good.

Clemson couldn't slow down OSU's run game until Dobbins got hurt. Dobbins is an SEC level back so that means LSU has 3-4 RBs that can do what Dobbins does.

Yea if Dobbins doesn't get hurt we may have seen a different outcome. Coach Day's playcalling in the red zone didn't help them either.Regardless Lsu had an easy game yesterday came out healthy while Clemson got beat up & was lucky to win.Lsu wins by a few td's or more...

I see what you're saying but we've had the same defense since Saban got here. Don't see any changes coming next season.

Tua has the better arm

Don't see this at all. Arm strength wise I think Tua's fairly average. His anticipation, touch and accuracy are what make him elite.

You know what the answer is? Start knocking people on their asses. Our defensive problems were mainly we were soft and didn't have very many headhunters.

There's damn few football problems that can't be solved by just knocking people on their asses. No one feared playing us - on offense or defense.

Burrow is a great QB. He has really good receivers too, just like Tua. Plus, his running back is a big weapon. Its just hard to defend all the players around Burrow, and he is excellent at getting the ball to them. Just like Tua. Burrow is a smart, tough, and athletic QB.

Western Kentucky true freshman kicker just kicked a 52 yard game winning field goal. It hurts

What people fails to realize that Brady's offense can be figured out, but It's Burrow, who keeps escaping pressure and makes impossible throws.... If it had not for them, they would've struggled. Brady would be smart to move on.

Burrow has had some great moments, starting with their first game vs Texas. They were behind, and had 4th and long with time running out and he somehow got a pass off with Texas players all over him, to pick up a first down.
