Seriously. I loved what Emmons did in his limited carries this year.

I liked Emmons a lot as well. Looked like Mark Ingram at times. Ran with an attitude and sense of purpose.

Had heard/read his foot injury last fall was significant. Wonder if a contributing factor?

While I agree that Emmons had potential, he looked the least impressive in his carries compared to the guys in front of him.

And he was who I most excited about out last year's freshman class.

Yep and it is more a testament to the skill of those other backs and not to his lack of skill. The truth is probably that although Bo, Damien and Josh were tough competition, Najee and Robinson are the reason he saw the need to transfer.

I had heard from Emoons coach back in May he was looking at leaving. The injury buried him in the depth chart and he met with the staff about his options. There is no ill will and my first guess right now is UNC or NC State but I know UGA and Clemson may become a factor. I actually hope he stays instate because both schools could use him.

More worried about UT as it is the same route Kamara followed.

I don't get it. You say he was the least impressive, but his athleticism was off the charts, and to me, looked every bit as dangerous as Jacobs, but maybe didn't have the blocking schemes down yet. All I know is that he's going to make some P5 team really happy.

I have always been a huge fan of Emmons but I think with Harris coming in the writing on the wall is the #1 spot will be locked up for a few years and the injury slowed him down getting back into the rotation.

I will say once he makes it back to a P5 team his career will end far batter then Jacobs and even though Jacobs has some studs in front of him many programs that Emmons will end up will to.

N Harris is going to play kid is an absolute monster. Emmons didn't have a chance at playing with him showing up.

Least impressive doesn't mean he was bad. It means we've got a lot of good backs. He was at the bottom.
