Ironic the Big10 wants to expand the playoffs now that they have NIL and other conference situations working to their advantage. Sankey is now the one saying no to expansion. Sankey needs to worry about cancelling the useless SECC game.

From what I am hearing Sankey needs to start listening to his members.

I think it would be in the best interest of the SEC to expand the playoffs and cancel the SECCG.

From what I am hearing that is what Sankey is hearing as the will of a lot of coaches and ADs in the conference but it’s not registering.

The coaches and ADs agreed on the nine-game conference schedule and mandatory P4 game under the assumption that the CFP would further expand. So far that has not happened and Greg Sankey appears to be the only person holding that up as he doesn't want the CFP to expand to 24. I'm not saying he's right or wrong, I'm simply saying he's delaying the inevitable and failing to produce what he promised his conference.
