So your saying the only reason you want to give him more time is because we don't have a replacement? That's a big difference from the original give him time to get better and get confidence, don't you think?

No, I'm saying you're comparing a scenario where we have competition to one where we don't. It's not an equal comparison.

Yes, I think we need to be patient with him because I think he's capable of more, plus what choice do we have?

Would you replace him if we had another punter?

Why didn't anyone argue to keep Jones as the kicker since he is proven? There's no thinking to it, he has what it takes yet he got benched.

I basically think all players should have to produce or get benched. There shouldn't be any exceptions. Every kid at Alabama has potential or they wouldn't be on the team, that doesn't mean we have to continue to play them when they are struggling.

Who knows, it might help Delong if he gets benched for the week and it takes some pressure off.

If he and the other punter were comparable in ability, yes.

I'm not asking this rhetorically at this point: Do you think Mack Wilson should go back there and punt this week?

Go for it every fourth down, that's the replacement. Or this weekend just take a knee, we don't won't to score 80.

That's all I wanted to know, that you would bench him and not just let him slog through the season because he has potential.

I do not think Mack should go back there, but I'd be willing to bet we have a walk on that can punt. I'd be all in on giving him a chance.

Isn't Mack already dealing with a reinjured foot? That is a no go. Send the pussy slayer back there. He will charm the ball 60 yards down the field. It will burn his redshirt though.

Sorry you don’t speak internet.

You see that IMO?

The O Means OPINION, which by the very definition of the word means what follows is not implied to be and thus should not be considered to be any form of proven fact. Sorry for confusing you. I shouldn’t have assumed everyone knew that shorthand and/or the difference between opinion and provable fact.
