Not sure what she brings to the table. So far our hitting is worse and our D is worse then last year. Cant put pitching on her. She is not the answer for me and has not been in coaching for a long time.

It’s kinda hard to overcome any deficit when you don’t score. Fourth ranked Tennessee comes to town next weekend.
quote:

A seven-run first inning proved too big of a deficit to overcome as Alabama fell in Sunday's series finale to Arkansas, 8-0, in five innings.

For the third time this weekend, Alabama (31-12, 8-10 SEC) ceded the first lead of the game to Arkansas (32-12, 11-7 SEC) after a seven-run first inning gave the Razorbacks a sizable early advantage. The scored remained the same until a sac fly RBI in the bottom of the fourth set up the potential run-rule for Arkansas, with the Crimson Tide unable to score in the top of the fifth as the home team secured the weekend series in five innings.

My guess is Braud was brought on to start the transition to her as the head coach.

What coaching experience does she have?

Zero?

Well yeah, I imagine Murphy will recommend an assistant if he retires but Byrne may go a different direction.

After watching the SEC storied episode on the 2012 team, I am fully convinced that Murphy brought in Braud for that reason. If he gets his way, that’s the next head coach.

Just what we need, a coach with no experience.

murph will have no say so as Bryne will be in charge. He may let Murph make some suggestions but there is no one on the current staff who should be a HC in the SEC.

Team BA down to 267 with only one player over 300. Our new first base coach has added a lot to the team hitting.

I'd take a couple down years if it means finding a new softball coach. I know he's a nice guy, but if he's not willing to get better or find a hitting coach worth a crap why are we allowing this program to go in the crapper? I know his former players love him, but enough is enough with this archaic offense. Get with the times dude!
