Bring Pruitt in as what? He's not gonna be a coach. The UT assistants who cooperated with the NCAA were only able to negotiate 3-5 year show causes. What do you think they're going to hit Pruitt with?

Depends on what exactly they agreed to doing and what can't/can be proven that Pruitt did/didn't know. Head coaches regularly get less severe penalties than their assistants for these very reasons. How insulated was Pruitt? We will find out soon enough.

His wife was directly involved so I'm gonna say not very.

Ja'Corey Brooks: Tommy Rees "Has a Little More Swag"

Brooks said that there are some differences between Rees and his last offensive coordinator, Bill O'Brien.

Ja'Corey Brooks on Alabama QB Battle: "We Never Know Whose Name Gonna Be Called"

This offseason, quarterbacks Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson are battling for the Crimson Tide's starting role under center.

People have a right to question if Milroe can be the guy.

We have actual game footage of him playing the position which is driving the skepticism of whether he can be an elite QB for us.

That doesn't mean he can't, or hasn't, improved with another offseason under his belt.

I will tell you this, no one on this board will give a shite who is starting under Center as long as we are winning.

What an ignorant statement. Everyone has the right to question Milroe's ability to throw the ball and not turn it over in key moments. He had four turnovers in the A&M game and nearly got picked several other times. He's an elite athlete running the ball but he has a long way to go as a passer.

McVay is literally almost 100 pounds heavier and six inches taller than Perry. He should have whipped him.

I’d love to see Milroe start and light it up this year

That being said, his past performances leave a lot to be desired in the areas of decision making and protecting the football. it makes perfect sense why a lot would question if he’s ready to start and play full time

This. I'm trying to be open minded. I remember when Blake Sims looked absolutely awful in the spring and then ended up starting and having a great season. Of course, like was said, we have actual games where JM has played and even started. He did not look good. A couple of big runs doesn't hide that. I remember when Mac got to start a couple of games in 2019 when Tua went down. I absolutely knew he was going to be a great QB if given the opportunity the next season and he did. Even with the early mistakes you could see the QB talent he had. I haven't seen anything close to that when Milroe played. Doesn't mean he can't drastically improve, but right now we've seen nothing to be excited about if he's the starter. I'm thinking he's more Anthony Richardson than Bryce Young...and I'd take Bryce every single time between those two.

Alabama needs an elite passer this year. The wide receivers are very talented and they need a dependable quarterback to get them the ball consistently. I think that some people are sleeping on Ty’s ability to run. He’s very athletic.

I wonder if its a drill where Perry has to go in that direction instead of trying to go around him.
